One word - BRAVO!

Well done to the KRPKAB team. The makers, the actors, costume designers - everyone. Many fans (me included) have had some complaints in the last few weeks. My reasons were simply Ishwari's obsession with consummation. However, today they put that to rest too...

I wish I could reply to each post, however, my new membership means I can only post so many times. Thus making a single post here. Really wanted to share my thoughts with fellow fans.

I am so impressed by how the serial is taking shape. It's not flawless. Let me get that out of my system first. Where is Riya during pooja? Why would Dev drive all the way to Rishikesh and back (it's a 6 hour drive, I checked 😛) when he has car/s and driver/s. Why would lalla not accompany the relatives (if he has to, I thought he works 15hours/day and had a huge business to run) instead of driving them on the NH 334 (again I checked 😛) . I am happy to ignore the little details. The reference to Behad was tasteless. Dev doesn't watch SOAPS. Never mind.

However, OMG! What amazing execution. So much packed in a 25 minute episode.

Its I for insecure Ishwari, but so is D for darpok Dev and S for sehmi Sona.

The insecurities are all doing such a beautiful dance in the Ishwari mansion now. Sona knows she lost Dev because of Ishwari's perception of lack of control. And that is what Sona is working on. She is totally working on the best bahu pageant because she knows she already won the lover pageant and she doesn't yet realise she may be a not-so-great wife (Folks, we need an asha-sona chat). Sona however has confidence in her love and knows exactly what bothers Ishwari(she always knew!) and is working on keeping Ishwari happy. She knows Ishwari can shake the very foundation of her marriage. With time, she will start working on the deep rooted issues with Dixits (what a messed up family I have to say) - I hope!

Dev.. Dev... Dev... from discreet "room main aao, baat karee hai" text messages to "tum le aana" & "main apne kamre main hun" open talk in front of mamaji and mummy dear - well done hubby! Last week I found your chit passing and lingerie err gift couriering immature, today I loved your decent yet bold expression of your yearn for a heart-to-heart with your wife after a long day at work and a long drive up and down the highway. Dev knows he lost Sona because he gave into Ishwari's neediness and this time he won't make that mistake. Of course he is desperate for action. (Like a fellow member pointed out, suhagrat sells on TV so it's obviously cashed... go for it makers... I'll play along. I am not hoping for action on a prime time 9:30 show, so go for it. I will watch a blue film when I need to see action on TV). But more importantly, he wants his family to know that Sona has a special place in his heart now.

Ishwari - I don't know how to praise Supriya's acting. I am so glad the reference to pass nahi aana' wasn't over the top. Thank you Radha Rani for bringing in your son and giving Ishwari somewhere outside of bedroom affairs to control Dev. Ishwari knows she has had to give in to her son's desires and doesn't want a repeat of jholi-faloing in front of Sona. She has had her share of begging in front of people for 20 years. She totally won't take anymore of that. She doesn't know if Sona will run this Dixit house or let her do it. None of us know. She knows Sona is a better person than herself. She knows her daughters and her son love Sona. Her own brother loves Sona. Thus all these controlling actions. What a complex lady. These do exist, they surely do. Thank you makers for keeping it so decent.

For once Vickky said something sensible - that mandir comment was hilarious.

Bua dadi and Sandhaya (jeeji!) made a swift exit. I was expecting a "ab jaldi se lalla ishwari ki god main dal do" type comment. So glad that didn't happen.

Beta Dev, when did Ishwari and Sona start controlling your office affairs? I am sure you will sort this vickky matter professionally. I know you are a dil-over-dimag type of a person. But mate, seeking your wife's opinion on this!?

I totally loved how Dev questioned Ishwari if he had forgotten anything. Brings you right back to the core of the serial - Dev meets Ishwari's needs, Sona meets Dev's (worldly and emotional) needs. Ishwari and Dev are the takers, Sona is the (independent) giver to Dev and Dev to Ishwari. Dev is only used to giving to his mother. His basic personality hasn't and can't change. I am glad he is growing up and atleast expressing his love for his wife. I also loved how he still went back to his mummy's godi for sukoon... Men do that. Women do that too. We all love our mummy's anchal. It takes a confident man to be able to do that in front of his wife. Muah Dev... and muah muah Shaheer - you did that piece so well.

Costume designers - can I kiss you? I totally love how Sona is slowly toning her finery and jewellery down. She looked very pretty without the bindi (there was a post on that topic) and I thought Dev was going to put it on her. Never mind, it was a mistake on part of the makers.

That tease by Nikki was cute and Riya walking into Dev's room was totally relatable. Dev, learn to close that door. You have 2 young unmarried sisters and a very annoying cousin (who kept hitting at your then-girlfriend now-wife) in the house.

Argue, grow, miss each other, make some babies and sort your lives out - devaskhi you guys did it so well today. Ishwari, poverty does bad things to people - you show that so well

He is D for dashing and D for deewana.. but his fear of loosing Sona is at play. And as usual, he is unaware of the uncurrents - the basic insecurities of the Dixits

Lovely take on the episode. Since we both have discussed all the points inside my post I will keep my response short and get on with my brunch now😆

D for dashing is much better than darpok..if there is one thing Dev is not after marriage thats his darr😆 Didn't you see how he sprinted to his Mom's room yesterday?🤣

Loving episodes day by day and lets hope the quality continues the same 😊 Keep writing your thoughts 👍🏼
