HI all

Lately I have decided to come up with a SS for all our five couples , which will be showcased one by one

The story pattern will not follow the Ramayan Plot , it will be a lot different as the story will move forward , so kindly dont relate the events to the original Plot .

I would sincerely like to have your reveiws and constructive critisicsm is also welcome.

If you want me to show some scene u like or you have any idea for the plot , pls dont hesitate to share

CHAPTER 1 ( INTRODUCTION )

The city of Khosal and Mithila have had been the closest of Allies since many many Years . King Dashrath and King Janaka shared many traits and Qualities , due to which there was a mutual Respect and Admiration between the two.

While the kingdom Of Ayodhya Boasted of Wealth , Riches and the most powerful Forces , The land of Mithila , though not as strong militarily , itself was a land rich in its scenic beauty and massive farmlands .

The two Kingdoms shared an amicable bond and Healthy trade relations , even though Both Families never quite met in person , as the daily running affairs of the Kingdom dindt allow them any time , inspite of their best efforts to try and meet.

And to top that off , both the kings have had an responsibilty of late , the king of Khosala had his four little princes to look after , who had been born after painstaking tapasya done by Dashrath and his three Wives- Kausalya , sumita and Kekayi . Such was the bond between father and Son , that dashrath wanted all his shining stars to be in front of his eyes , the more he gazed towards them , the more his heart wanted .

Same was the case with King Janaka and King Kushdhwaja , they had been blessed with four daughters , and they could not help but spoil their daughters with love . The once deserted Palace of Mithila , filled with gloom due to no children , had now turned into a loud mess , with chatter-patter of the girls filled all around the corridors . The arrival of the daughters to this world brought along with them huge prosperity , with the barren Lands of mithila turning lush green once again , and filling the mood of the praja with joy.

Prince Ram was born to Queen Kaushalya , the eldest of the four , he was the ideal for the other three brothers .

All of them looked towards him for his gudance and love. As soft spoken as Ram was , he was extremely protective of his siblings , and took upon him to face any wrath of his mothers when his siblings did mischief . All of just 10 years of age , he had the knack of standing up against the old school shackles and rituals .

Bharat was the second eldest , born to queen kekai , he was an introvert and liked spending his time in craftsmanship , mainly paintings and pottery , at the age of just 9 , he had developed super crafts skills and liked to spoil his other 3 brothers from the gifts he made personally . He was respected equally as Rama.

And then there were the naughty ones , the twins Lakshman and Shatrughan , born to queen sumitra , though blood brothers by birth , Lakshman was inseparable from Ram and shatrughan from bharat. The reasons well , was known to the entire Ayodhyan Praja , Queen Sumitra feeding on the halves of prasad of the other two queens , her sons were destined to be inclined towards their elder brothers.

But however attached may be to their elder brothers , there was one thing they were together in always , MISCHIEF . They too were at 9 yrs of age , just a few months younger than Bharat.

The daughters of Mithila too had contrasting personalities.

Sita , at 9 yrs of age , had developed deep intesrest in being with nature and feeling it , often was found sitting with her sisters near the ponds and on outskirts of the mithila forests , whenever she was around , birds from all around flew at stood on the tree branches near her , sometimes making a humming sound , as if talking to her , and why not , she was after all the daughter of mother nature , found in the soil when the king himself was ploughing the fields. Her arrival brought along a fortune for mithila , not only in temrs of wealth , but also in the form of good news for queen sunaina and chandrabhaga .

Months later , Mandavi and Urmila were born , their birth being just days apart, and an year later the youngest princess , Shrutkirti.

Shrutkirti was a sedate girl , often being pampered by her sisters , especially Sita . She loved to sing and dance. She liked to hear folktales of Princes from her mother and her Sita Didi , often living in her dream world

Mandavi was more of a Chirpy and centered Type , she liked to stand in front of the mirror and dress up for hours , with her sisters joining in helping her . She absolutely hated cooking , which her mother had tried to invoke some culnirary interest in her , but she was least interested , and often ran to king janaka , even in between in palace proceedings , to avoid her mother .

Urmila was a total different type of fellow , She hated herself called a princess , in her view , she was her father's prince . Not into any activities that is expected of a typical princess , she had made it a habit to sneak out to training grounds , along with her Uncle Kushdwaja who oversaw the military affairs , and watched from the stands the fighters train and fight it out . often being scolded for this , she didt care.

Just like the Kosala Princes , the Mithila Beauties shared an in separable sister bond , different in likings , but similar deep inside their heart .

what had destiny planned for the next generation of these two Kingdoms ????

CHAPTER 2 ( BEYOND SHORES )

A few Thousand Miles away from the Kingdom from Kosal and Mithila , Lied the Island Kingdom of Lanka , Ruled by one of the most powerful and fearless Emperors , Dashaanan Raavan . Known in all the three Realms of the Universe for his valour and his unmatched knowledge of Vedas and Celestial Weapons , he had scripted quite a history for himself as there practically no one who could challenge him to war , those who did , ultimately met their fate in Death , others well , had no choice but to accept his supremacy.

But the King of Lanka nowdays wasn't that torrid to look at , anyone who saw him the palace could just feel anything but a king in him . And why Not , he was going to be a father Again , and the worries and eagerness of a father to be could be seen vividly in his eyes.

Queen Mandodari had gone into labour a few hours ago and a good news was expected anytime now. Raavan in his anticipation for a third son had even thought his name beforehand , "AKSHAY KUMAR " , is what I am going to call him .

In Raavan's Chamber

Raavan ( moving hurreidly round the room ) : Vibhishan , brother , any news Yet

Vibhishan ( calmly hold raavan on both shoulder's ) : Brother , pls do no worry so much , Bhabhi is being Looked after well and she is in pretty safe hands of Raj Vaidya Sushen and Bhabhi Vajramala. I am amazed to see you in this state everytime when u are going to become a father . I thought maybe you must have gotten over your this anxiety by now , having witnessed it a couple a times before . ( vibhishan tried to lighten the mood ).

Raavan ( somewhat relaxed now) : Oh my inncoent brother , you will not understand , Wait till you become a Dad , then I will ask you the same Question , and then I will see you your Reaction.

Listening so , Vibhishan's mind rolled back in time about 13 yrs

Flashback ( 13 yrs back )

Whole of lanka had been rejoicing for the past 3 months on getting the news that queen mandodari was soon going to delver the Heir to the kingdom of Lanka . There was so much joy and happiness inside Raavan that he had invited all his relatives for the big day , the day the supposedly birth would take place .

The whole of Lanka had been coated in gold , a gift from Ravan's brother Kuber on the arrival of his nephew

Pacing his Steps outside queen's room , he could hear vividly mandodari's cries of Pain , as she tried to push out the baby.

Standing near Raavan was the Asur guru Shukracharya , with whom he didnt have the most cordial of relations , but Rajdharm Demanded the presence of the Asur guru on such an auspicious occasion.

After a few minutes of moaning and crying of Mandodari , all the noises stopped

Raavan Looked dumstruck for a few seconds , when suddenly the youngest Queen Sarama , wife of Vibhishana came out rather hurriedly .

Raavan : Sister Sarama , what happened , the noise just stopped , is my Heir Born Yet

Sarama( her lips trembling ) : Bhrata Raavan , Bhabi has given birth to a boy , but , but ( saying she broke out crying)

Raavan's Heart raced a million notches , and he Rushed to his wife inside

Meanwhile , Sarama , gathering some courage , told Vibhisan that the boy born was still , and they both too went inside , fearng the worst

What Vibhishan saw was not a pretty site , Queen Mandodari lay unconsious on the Bed , tired Extremely after long hours of labour pain , standing beside her was Kekasi , holding the still born baby in her hand

Vibhishan , sarama , vajramala , all took the child in their hands at made attempt for him to cry , but in vain

Raavan stood some feet apart , shcoked to the core and didnt speak anything

With some courage , he moved towards his child , and gently took him away from the arms of sarama .

Within Seconds , after a bare touch from his father , the boy came back to life , and cried loudly , including a slight tear from Raavan too , which did not went unnoticed.

The cry was so loud that it literaaly shook the foundations of the palace , seemed like an earthquake had hit the Island . A wave of joy happiness went round the palace witnessing the first signs of new life , and moments later it was Kumbhkaran who barged into the queen's Room

Ravan : Kumbhkaran brother , welcome , on what an auspicious occasion u have woken up , come here and meet your nephew.

Vibhishan : Brother , but this isnt your time to be woken , then what could possibly... ( he looked towards the baby )

Kumbhkaran : But it was such a loud noise of cloud thunder , how could have such a thud kept me asleep

Shukracharya : Putra Kumbhkaran , it was neither an earthquake nor Lightning , it was the first cry of your little nephew , which managed to wake you up , Quite an impressive start by Heir Of lanka , waking up his Giant Uncle with just his cry.

Raavan : Guruji , though we are not on good terms , but on this I agree with u fully , I myslef have to labour hard to wake him up , but look what it required my son , just a cry .

To commemorate this Feat , I proclaim his Name as Megnath " the one whose cries resemble the lighting "

Moments later , Mandodari started coming back to her senses , she opened her eyes slightly , barely able to witness what was going around , she saw her son in the lap of his father , and a serene smile went on her lips , till she heard the next words.

Shukracharya : Putra Raavan , from What i have witnessed today , He will be exactly Like you , with your touch , he came back to senses , this is an indication he will be extremely loyal to you , will do as you please , now make him a tough warrior , will you.

Raavan : Dont Worry Guruji , I will make my SOn stroger than Me , He will rule the world under Feet.

Mandodari listening the last few words , the smile faded in anticipation of the dark future , and her tired body once again forced her into deep sleep.

SAME TIMELINE 13YRS BACK FROM PRESENT ( IN VAIKUNTH )

Lord Vishnu and Devi Lakshmi are sitting on Shesha , Godess Lakshmi pressing the feet of the Lord

Shesha , who has always this mesmerizing site in front of him to worship , is not in his correct frame of mind today, and he moves shakily to the right and left , therby making godess lakshmi surpised

Lakshmi : What happened my dear Shesha , are u not well today

Shesha : No Mata , how can I be unwell in your and prabhu's presence .

Narayan : Shehsa , will you just cut the crap and go to Naaglok at once .

Shesha ( Surprised ) : But Prabhu , how did you know that i was having the urge to go there ... ( stops for a moment and says again ) . I am also a big fool , I am asking my trikaaldarshi Naarayan how he knew what i was gonna ask

Lakshmi ( laughing ) : thats Right , Swami knows everything

Narayan : Go Fast , and be back soon , you know I cant stay away from ur Mata and You for long.

Saying , shesha Left for Naaglok

Lakshmi : Swami , you should have told him everything

Narayan : How could I break My Shesha's heart , its for him to know by self.

Lakshmi : My Poor Son , He would be devastated.

Shehsa arrives in Naaglok , and is welcomed in a grand way by his Brother Vaasuki. Both the Brothers Hug after meeting after a long time.

It was big occasion , Lord Vasuki had been Blessed woth a beautiful Daughter , called Sulochana

Shesha's Consort Godess Varuni had already gone to naaglok some time ago , and Sulochana was seen peacefully sleeping on her lap , with godess Mansa , the sister of Vasuki and Shesha , on her side to help her out.

Shehsa entered the room and gazed at the Naaglok princess , Lips like rose Petals and dimples in her cheeks , one of the most beautiful specimen he had seen

Shesha : your Daughter is beautiful Brother

Vasuki : Aint she your daughter too , and look , she resembles you more than me .

Shehsa : Oh yeah , Is it , now you are flattering me . Priye Varuni , can I pls hold Her

Varuni : Here , but carefully , she is too delicate

Sheha : Oh Please , I know my way around children

Varuni : Is it , did you forget when 200 years back , you ...( varuni was stopped in between by vasuki )

Vasuki : Oh no not again , will you please both stop arguing , I am pretty sure even in your earth avtaars , your love story is not going to start on peaceful note.

Shesha : Ok Ok , you dont have to teach me , Remember I am still the King..

Saying so he lifted up sulochana in his arms, and the pretty infant opened her eyes

And what shesha saw next in her eyes was terryfying , He saw a Beautiful Maiden Jump into a Pyre, along with a shadow figure of man with blood on his sword .

He Handed sulochana back to Mansa , and wacked out of the chamber Hurriedly , with tears flowing out from his eyes , the serpent king , one of the most ferocious ones to be known in the universe , crying loudly .

Varuni and Vasuki went out to him

Varuni : swami , what happened , I havent seen you like this in ages

Vasuki : yes brother , tell me , is everything OK , or did you sense something with sulochana

Shesha ( lost in his own world ) : I cant be the reason for this , I cant be the reason for this , I am sorry Brother.

Saying he left for vaikunth again

CHAPTER 3 ( THE MITHILA FAMILY )

As the Sun Set on the Horizons of Mithila , the four princesses went to their room for a good night's sleep , for they had to wake up on time early next morning , they were now into their second month of Lessons in Rishi Yagyavalik's Ashram , but tomorrow was something special , it was one of those days where the Great Saint would Himself be interacting with his four little students , and didn't the girls love to hear from him , for it would give them a whole new perspective to approach their life.

It wasn't that Mata Gargi wasn't good , she was a great scholar herself , but the Great Saint was a class apart , who could forget that debate event held at the palace where the Rishi had answers to all the questions posed by him by various learned men and women of the country , and Rajrishi Janak was himself in awe of the words he Spoke. This past one moth of the lessons has had quite an effect on the sisters , moulding their mind strongly towards gaining the values of life , but keeping intact their tender and Delicate hearts intact.

It was an nearly an hour since the Sita , Urmila , Mandavi and Shrutkirti had been asleep and Janak and Kushdhwaj were chatting with their wives in the hall , when suddenly their talks were broken off hearing loud fighting noises coming from the girls' Room

Chandrabhaga ( giving an amused look to her Sunaina ) : Oh No Bhabhi , bot again this time...

Sunaina : I tell you , these girls have had it today from Me

Saying so , all four rushed towards their bedchamber , seeing a worrysome but a funny sight.

Urmila and Mandavi were shouting at each other , and pulling each other's hair , pushing and scratching each other's arms , Sita trying hard to mediate between the two , and Kriti still sleeping peacefully as if nothing was going on around her.

Urmila : Mandavi , u always do this , today I am not going to leave you

Mandavi : Then why did u said such nasty thing first , its ur fault

Chandrabhaga ( angrily ) : Both of you , stop it now.

Sunaina ( pulls Urmila's Ears ) : So what did u say to Mandavi , I am sure u started it

Chandrabhaga ( now pulls Manadvi's ears ) : No Didi , its always this Naughty Mandavi that is upto all this , I am sure Urmi did Nothing

Janak and Kushdwaj Look towards each other Smiling seeing their Wives take sides of the other one's daughter , a sign of Selfless and Rare display of affection not seen in the queen mothers for the other's children.

Janak ( Intervenes to stop the fight ) : Okay both of u just tell me what are u fighting for ? who said what.

Urmila and Mandavi both look towards each other

Urmila : Pitaji , she said ... she said that... ok I am not remembering it right now , U tell Mandavi Didi

Mandavi : Neither do I , really what Were we fighting for sita Didi ( asks rather innocently )

Sita ( Slightly Angry ) : Hey Bholenath ,Its what I have been Asking you both .

Janak Burst into Laughter

Sunaina : Ok , both of u , you are not sleeping together for a week now , it will be the punishment

Listening this , Faces of both Urmila and Mandavi fell down

Urmi ( Kisses Manadavi ) : No Maa , this isn't fair , Please we wont fight , don't take Didi Away

Mandavi ( Hugs and Kisses Back ) : Ya , We are soul sisters , we love each other a lot , Promise wont fight again

And before anyone could say anything , Both Urmila and Mandavi were straight to Bed covering both their faces with the blankets , and Slept in each other arms for the night , Sita too went beside Shrutkirti and Dozed Off.

As all of them Walked back towards the Hall :

Kushdwaja : And today again Brother , you solved the problem without even blinking an eye. God I am gonna miss these moments when all of them shall be married off later.

Rishi yagvalkar : And its Time Putra Kushdwaja that you solve some problems of your own , for the need has come tonight.

Janak and Kushdwaja saw the Rishi Standing before them in a rather Tensed Look. They sought his blessings and offered him a Seat respectfully.

Sunaina : Greetings , Oh Sage , why did you trouble yourself arriving at this Ungodly hour to the palace , u should have given a word to us and we would have reached the ashram ourselves.

Rishi : No Putri , the matter is Most urgent . I have received News that The king of sankasya has Reached the Borders of Mithila and is planning to attack with his full set of Army tomorrow night .

Kushdwaja , I want you to fend of the attack , so prepare your troops

Kushdwaj : That Traitor , I wont leave him alive , he has broken off our trust way too many times .

Chandrabhaga ( worried ) : Calm down Swami , don't take any step in haste and anger , Maharaj Janak , wont you say anything to your brother ..

Kushdwaj : But Brother , I am most hurt by him breaking your trust , I cant tolerate that , u know how much I love and respect you

Janak : I know that brother , that's why I am saying you , I need you with Me forever , so Just calm down and prepare the war strategy , In the meantime I Will see What I can do

Kushdwaj went down to the arena to Prepare his troops , Meanwhile Janak called on his Fastest Horse Riders with a SOS to King Dashrath for a Quick Help

All the preparations went on for the whole night and it was nearly Dawn , Kushdwaj was almost Battle Ready and came to seek blessings from the Rishi and His Brother.

Meanwhile Sunaina and Chandrabhaga had gone to wake up the girls to bid a goodbye to their Uncle and Father . Upon entering the room , they Saw Sita lying next to kirti , with her hand on Kirti's waist , like an overprotective sister would lay down near her sibling . Mandavi and urmila lay in rather a unique fashion , they both had their arms wrapped around each other's neck , and slept but still in a cuddling posture , some scratch marks still visible on their arms from last night's battle , anyone who would have seen both of them like that must have thought that the two would often fight for each other , rather than fight among themselves.

With teardrops in their Eyes , the queen mothers woke up their children and told them the entire tale of King Kushdwaj going to war , and asked them to meet him once before he proceeds to battle

Kushdwaj : Bless Me Brother for Success

Janak : Win shall be yours Kushdwaj , and to Assist you Maharaj Dashrath is sending his Cavalry Rgiment for Help , they shall reach in a few hours

Kushdwaj : But brother , don't u have trust on my abilities , I can defeat that Sankasya naresh without any help

Janak ( hugging Kushdwaja ) : No Brother , Don't Misunderstand me , I have full faith in you and our Sena , its just that you are one of the most precious things to me , I don't want to loose you or see you get hurt , so I am not taking any chances , who knows even the tiniest bit of Extra help may prove beneficial.

Kushdwaja : Don't Worry about me , for I will return Unscathed and Victorious , its my promise to you all.

All the four sisters were standing a few feet away and had listened to the whole conversation , and they all ran to the King to hug him. All wanted to help in their Own capacity .

Sita : Chote Pitaji , I will also go with you , I will treat all the injured soldiers

Kushdwaja was surprised to see his Little Kirti not crying and putting up a bold face

Kirti : Me too pitaji , I too will help along with Sita Didi .

Kushdwaja ( lightin up the mood ) : And Urmila , Mandavi , what are ur plans , ur gonna be medics there as well

Urmila : No Chote Pitaji , I am going to chop his head off , I am a warrior , u have taught me some battle moves , I am going to put them to use

Mandavi : Me too , I am going to eat him alive

Urmila ( whispers to mandavi ) : So does a rakshasi

All sisters ( in chorus ) : We all will together help

Kushdwaja : I am so proud of my daughters , seeing you together gives me strength , don't worry , I will take care of this beast myself , but I promise to take you all along to battle when u grow up , And urmila , you have still much to learn in warfare putri

Urmila : Ok chote pitaji , but don't forget our secret deal ...

Janak : What deal ?

Kushdwaja : Oh brother don't you remember telling the girls that Ayodhya is the mightiest kingdom in the world , So urmila has had a fascination of late , she wants that the two us train together to make mithila's forces as stronger than Ayodhya. The warrior inside her never gives up .

Janak ( patting urmila's back): Ha Ha , then my daughter has to work really hard to achieve this near impossible task , after all she would be up against one of the 4 prince's who shall be given the task of overseeing Ayodhya's military matters. My best friend Dashrath would be amused really seeing his son Loose against my brave daughter.

Later , Kushdwaja Left for battle , leaving behind his family in Tears and anticipation as to what the outcome would lay before them

CHAPTER 4 THE QUEENS OF AYODHYA

Kushdwaja Left For Battle at the Light Of the Dawn , in tow behind him was the massive battalion of Foot Soldiers of Mithila , and enroute to the warzone , he was joined by Ayodhya's Elite Royal cavalry guards lead by none other than Ayodhya's Commander in chief and Dashrath's most trusted Men , Senapati Vijay .

Kushdwaj and Janak sensed that sending Vijay himself to Mithila for Help meant just one thing , that to Ayodhya , The kingdom was Mithila was now much more than a standard friendship , it was like family. They both felt extremely honoured for this gesture by Emperor Dashrath.

Time Passed By and it was Late Night . The Only word Received till now from the messangers was that the battle was fought at a frantic Pace , with no clear winner in Sight . The Whereabouts and Health of Kushdwaja was unknown till now .

At the Royal Hall , King Janak Sat with his Entire Family , along with the Presence of Rishi Yagyavalkya . His Two Wives and Mata Gargi had Also reached the palace later , they wanted to be there for emotional support Required to the Royal Family.

The atmosphere was pretty Tense . No one had not eaten since hours , and it was Time that Sunaina thought that she had to be the Brave one and take charge of the matters.

She called for Sita and Urmila , and put both her Hands on their shoulders and looked around , seeing the sad and worn out faces .

Janak and Mandavi had a terror on their face , while Chandrabhaga and Kirti looked as if they had controlled their tears Hard , and could burst out out any minute now . Only Sita and Urmila looked somewhat calm and composed , Sita due to her sheer ability of being close to mother nature and her 6th sense of things to come , and Urmila's due to her supreme confidence on her Chacha's veteran combat traits .

As Sunaina was just about to speak to her Girls , Sita Broke her sentence in between

Sita : Don't Worry Ma , We both Will Make Sure they Eat

Urmila : Yes Ma , we Will Help

Sunaina was pleasantly surprised at her Daughters' Maturity and kissed them both .

Sunaina made chandrabhaga and janak sit by her Side .

Sunaina : Here , I have prepared the Dinner , lets eat now , no one has eaten anything till now

Janak : Priye , I am not Hungry , U pls eat and feed the children too

Chandrabhaga : Yes Bhabhi , even I don't feel Hungry , wait I'll serve you and the Kids

Sunaina ( frowned and got Up ) : What is it with you two , do you think you both not eating is going to change the outcome of the war . Do you think I am not worried for Him , he is like my Own brother , and you have no idea what I am going through at the moment , but staying Hungry is not a solution . I want that when my brother returns victorious , the whole family is healthy and happy when welcoming him back , and not with worn out faces . Do you think he is gonna be joyous seeing us in a pitiful state , no he wont . Now do I have to force feed you both or will u start on your own.

Chandrabhaga got up hugged Sunaina , with tears in her eyes

Chandrabhaga : Didi , I am Sorry , I get what u are implying , I am so glad to have you around .

Janak : Sunaina , you're right , lets eat , call the kids

There on the other side of the Hall ...

Sita and Urmila served first to the Rishi , his Wives and Mata Gargi , who Albeit reluctantly , sat down to Eat , not being able to refuse the little gems .

Sita : Maharishi , please help me to convince my sisters to eat too

After a few minutes

Sita : Mandavi , shrutkirti , pls for the sake of ur sister , come and eat something , otherwise u will become ill

Mandavi : But Didi I cant eat , all I can think about is father .

Urmila : If you will not eat , how will u get energy to fight with me

Mandavi : I don't need energy to fight with you , seeing your face is enough ...

Urmila : Kirti , at least u come , let this obstinate girl stay hungry , see the food is so yummy

Kirti ( innocently ) : Is it so yummy Didi ... ?

Sita : Yes Yes , off course

Now with kirti almost in her pocket , she was left with Mandavi to convince , Urmila resorted to her clever tactics

Urmila ( casting a smirk towards the rishi ) : Ask Maharishi ... Aint I saying the truth Maharishi Yagyavalkya .

Maharishi : Yes Yes , Putri Urmila is saying the absolute truth

Urmila : And above that , the food is really tasty

Maharishi : Yes Yes , It is , infact never tasted any better

Urmila : And the most important of All , Maharishi is going to give a surprise to the one who finishes her dinner first

Maharishi : Of course I will , Promise... ( realising what he said ) ... ... Excuse Me , what surprise ?????

Listening to this , Mata Gargi and Sunaina burst Out Laughing , with Rishi Yagyavalkya left feeling rather amused and embarrassed.

Mata Gargi came towards Urmila and made her Sit on her Lap

Gargi ( pulling Urmila's Soft Cheeks ) : You are a really clever Girl , in fact , the first one I have seen to outwit the great Rishi himself . You orchestrated him into luring your sisters to eat.. I am now really worried about Maharaj Janak finding the right groom for his fiery daughter in the future.

Sita : Don't Worry Mata , If Pitashree Cant , I will find him.

Urmila : Then I will choose for My Sita Didi, and that's Final , got it Naa.

Kriti gobbled up her food as fast as she could , as the sisters looked upon her lovingly for her sheer innocence. Once done , she ran upto the Rishi

Shrutkirti ( Pulling down the Rishi's hand ) : Maharishi , My Surprise Please...

The Rishi looked on with a rather confused Face as what to do , and finally came up with an Idea

Rishi Yagyavalkya ( thinking ) : It's a good opportunity for me , Let me keep them engrossed in my Words , it will divert their attention to something else rather than worrying for Kushdwaj

MahaRishi : Ok my Sweet Princess , I think I know the surprise , I am going to tell you a story , not only to you , to everybody , will that be OK my dear

Manadavi : Of course it will

Shrutkirti ( angrily to her sister ) : I won the competition and Maharishi Asked me , don't poke ur nose in between.

Urmila and Sita giggled

Mandavi ( angrily in thoughts) : You little devil , I will see u later in the bedroom.

Kirti : Yes , I would love to hear , I like Fairytales

Rishi : Well dear this is one is true story , but yes , its no less than a fairy tale itself

Saying so , Rishi asked everyone to Join to hear the story .

The Rishi Sat on the floor , and the girls sat around him in a circle . The King , queens , and others sat a little far away , their attention keenly now to what they were about to hear for the next many hours

Yagyavalkya began narrating :

Yagyavalkya :

Girls today I will tell you the tale of Ayodhya , which is Mithila's Closest ally and friend , and Many of the things I will tell you may not be known to even your fathers and mothers.

The Kingdom of Ayodhya is Ruled by the great Ikshvaku Dynasty , also known as the Suryavanshis.

Do you know who rules this magnificent Kingdom ??

Sita:

Yes , its Pitashree's close Friend , Mahaaraj Dashrath , we have heard so much about Him.

Yagyavalkya:

Yes Putri , But Do you know He wasn't Called Dashrath By Birth . There's a story to it

He was Born as Nemi , Son of King Aja and Princess Indumati , it was only later in his life that he obtained a powerful Rath , capable of moving in each of the eight directions , that he popularly Became Known as Dash-Rath .

A Man of exemplary Wisdom and Courage , and a man of his words , carrying on the legacy of the dynasty to have always fulfilled the promises once given .

A brave King set out to Conquer the World , But a very noble man at Heart , he sent Missionaries to rival Kingdoms for Friendship and War

Urmila :

Maharishi , Friendship and war , how can a rajdoot carry a message for both friendship and war at a single time ?

Yagyavalkya :

Yes Putri , its entirely Possible . What he Did was to first ask for friendship , if that Kingdom didnt agree , then it was war against Ayodhya. And it was this very Practice that paved the way for the entry of Maharani Kaushalya as his First Wife .

The Daughter of King Sakushal and Queen Amritprabha of Magadh, a very Noble and Pious Lady . Dashrath , like before , sent the friendship message to Sakushal , but it was rejected and Ayodhya went to war with him , which Dashrath eventually won . Sakushal had to accept Ayodhya's dominance , but later in the course of time , both became really close allies , and Maharaj Sakushal gave away his Daughter Kaushalya's Hand in marriage to Him .

This is really fascinating tale , Pls go on

Yagyavalkya :

Dashrath's Second wife is Rani Kekayi , considered by most one of the bravest and most beautiful women in this world , the Daughter of King Aswapathi of Kingdom Of Kekaya , she is one sister among the many Brothers , but no less brave and skilled than her Brothers.

Once Dashrath was on a hunting trip in Kekaya , when suddenly a Tiger Pounced on him . With just a bow in his hand now broken , All was left was his bare hands , it was then that a nearby passing Patrol came to his rescue , and the masked leader of the patrol stabbed the wild cat with its sword.

Dashrath was taken to kekaya palace and nursed back to health , and it was there that it was revealed that it was the emperor's daughter to his rescue . He is said to have fallen for her bravery and beauty and the two were later married off.

Mandavi :

What a lovely tale , Is she that beautiful , Maharishi ?

Yagyavalkya:

Yes she is , but not as charming as you dear.

Anyways , lets continue . Dashrath's Third and youngest Wife is Queen Sumitra , the princess of the kingdom of Kashi , though not as wealthy as Magadh and kekaya , it's a hub of Knowledge. Sumitra is the one of the wisest ladies I have come across , and believe me , I am not joking when I say she can really give your Mata Gargi a run for her Money . Extremely Selfless and someone with a way more mature mind for her age , some say she can sense even the most absurd and in-explainable things which aren't visible to the naked eye .

Urmila : Maharishi , I would really Like to Meet her someday , she sounds just like Ma .

Shrutkirti : Yes Didi , she does

CHAPTER 5 ( THE PRINCES OF AYODHYA )

Mandavi ( Excited ) : what next , Maharishi

Rishi : Girls I only know this much

Urmila : But the fun was just beginning , u cant just stop like that in between

Janak : Yeah , Even I want it to continue , Its strange that after all these years , some of the things brought out today were completely new to me . Dashrath is secretive person , he hid so much from me , I wonder whats more he s got under the closet.

A voice was heard suddenly " Then May be I can help the tale to continue "

It was Vijay's Voice

Everyone Looked behind to find Kushdwaj and Vijay standing before them , with broad smiles on their faces , indicating that the battle was won by mithila.

Everyone Rushed towards Kushdwaj to embrace Him .

Janak : I am so glad to see you back victorious , and more importantly , Unscathed and not wounded

Kush'j : Well brother some of the credit goes to Vijay , he took a hit twice for me ( pointing towards his bruised arm ) . Our combined forces fought valiantly , and I wish you had seen Vijay's sword Skills , it was like Magic , I now understand why He is Maharaj Dashrath's most trusted.

Vijay : I am not That Praisworthy Sire , you are embarrassing me.

Chandrabhaga and Sunaina went towards Vijay and dressed up his wound .

Chandrabhagha : Today u protected my husband , I shall forever be indebted to you , if u don't mind , can I call u as my brother from now on

Sunaina : not just hers , mine too...

Vijay : It would be my honour , my sisters.

Kush'j : By the way , I was hoping to find you all a bit stressed at least , but for the past two hours of what I have seen , it didn't look that at all

Janak : what , u have been here for two hours

Vijay ( laughing) : Yes Maharaj , while u were busy listening to Rishika Gargi's Tale .

Sita : Kakashree it was so entertaining , we just didn't notice .

Vijay : For Me , it was as if I was relieving the past again

Kush'j : Not ur fault Putri , Even we both had a good time listening to that in the background

Vijay : So King Janak , when are u planning to send King Kushdwaj to sankasya to oversee its administration ?

Janak , Kush'j and the queens looked towards their daughters , who had suddenly got close to each other and had held each other's hand tightly , breathing Heavily and nodding their heads in a big NO , about to burst out crying anytime now.

Janak : Actually I wont .

Vijay : But someone needs to oversee the affairs there

Janak : I think I will find someone capable from my assembly of ministers , but not my brother , for I cant live without him , neither can my daughters bear separation from each other.

Chandrabhaga ( fake anger) : Mahaaraj you fogot us , Me and Didi too cant live without each other

Janak ( Laughs ) : Yes Yes both of you too .

Kush'j ( sarcastic ) : Brother , we can never win against our wives , it's a useless battle.

Vijay : Oh Man , this is so much Like Ayodhya . You four little princesses are just like my Princes , together always . Come Sit with me , I will tell you something now , and I am pretty sure no one here knows this stuff , for these are too cherishable moments for them , but I think I can share with you all , Mithila is now officially my Sister's family now , so kind of my own

Respected Maharishi , with your permission , Pls let me take on from here

Yagyavalkya : Sure , I was just coming on to narrate the birth of the princes , U can start from there.

Vijay :

Ok lets continue . The kingdom of Ayodhya has had literally everything going for it , except for one thing , Neither of the Queens had borne the King an Heir to the throne , and finally after several years of desperation , on advice of Ayodhya's Rajguru Vashishth , Maharaaj carried out a tough penace for to be blessed by a child

There was a Massive Yagna , And maharaja along with all maharaanis performed the Puja .

The Gods were Pleased with him , and offered him a bowl of Rice pudding as Prasad , the intake of which would have made the queens pregnant.

He handed over the bowl to queen Sumitra for the Prasad to be divided , who as selfless as I have known her to be , divided the contents into two bowls of equal proportions . Seeing the happiness on the faces of the two other queens , she had forgotten to ration for herself.

SCENE NARRATION BY VIJAY:

Rani Sumitra walked towards towards the two Queens and handed them the bowls , Rani Kaushalya and Rani kaikeyi looked towards each other smiling and nodding their heads in unison , as if talking in eyes only , they both ate some portion of their respective bowls , and then lovingly fed Rani sumitra with the remaining Prasad in their plate

Kaushalya : Sumitra , this Prasad was meant for the three of us , this means including you as well

Kaikeyi ( joyous ) : Soon we shall have three sons and the palace will live out with the babbling and crying noises of the babies , the void in our and Maharaj's lives will be filled forever .

The three queens lovingly go into a group Hug

Time Flew by , and Soon queen Kaushalya gave birth to the Eldest son of Dashrath on the ninth day of Shukla Paksha in lunar month of chaitra, The crown Prince of Ayodhya , Prince Ram . Born with a slight dusk toned skin, Appearance as if Lord Narayan was born a baby . A child with an enchanting smile and calmness to his Face , Yuvraj Ram is the pearl of the eyes of his Father and three mothers.

The Kosala kingdom rejoiced in festive mood for nearly a month , And Maharaaj was like he went mad with happiness , he distributed half of the wealth in the royal treasury to the praja.

Mahaaraj was so attached to yuvraj , that whenever he got time off from Royal affairs , He would come to Kaushalya's chambers to rock his cradle. Sometimes he wouldn't he even come to oversee matters , letting me and Guru Vashisht oversee proceedings . His birth changed the fortunes of Ayodhya and brought good luck and prosperity to them .

You know all those all years , for the first time I saw the queens Fight , you know why , just as to decide with whom shall Yuvraaj Ram sleep in the night .

About an year later , Queen Kekayi gave birth to the second son of Mahaaraj , Prince Bharat.

Born with his mother's beautiful eyes , he bore an uncanny resemblance to his father ,so round fluffy cheeks and skin as white as Milk , he is said to have been born the most beautiful baby boy . Seeing his Face just lets you forget everything else . Its common word round the streets of Ayodhya , that Gods blessed Rani kekayi with a child of Golden heart , a soul so pure and innocent that she didn't even feel the pain of childbirth , the queen supposedly underwent a painless birth procedure.

Such is the demeanour of our Yuvraj Bharat , He doesn't have the ability to give pain to others.

And finally just a few Months Later , Queen Sumitra too went to labour . And her case was the exact opposite to that of Kekayi . Her belly was swollen well beyond normal , and as she roared in Pain , Kaushalya could only help her sitting by her side , trying her best to calm her down . It was a torrid rainy day , with the clouds in sky fractioning to create huge thunderous noises . The royal Medic and Sage vashisht was called for Help , and the medic Confirmed , that Ayodhya would be getting not three , but four Princes . She had bore twins due to sheer accident , the Prasad meant for three had been turned to four portions , and sumitra bore two sons as she ate 2 portions.

It was torrentious times for Ayodhya , Maharaaj was not in palace , Ayodhya was at War with Asurs .

I was left back at the palace to take care of everyone , and I remember being scared so much .

Rani Kaushalya was by her side and even Sage Vashisht , through his divine powers couldn't lessen the pain Queen Sumitra went through . I even remember his exact words when he failed in his attempt

" It looks that this event is beyond even my Powers to control . My Poor Putri Sumitra , Why does she have to bear the worst of fortunes everytime "

On the other hand , Rani Kekayi had her hands Full with taking care of both rama and Bharat , who had suddenly started to cry and moan loudly as soon as their step mother had gone to labour .

No one knows how it happened , but Ram and Bharat managed to cluth away from Rani kaikayi's lap and crawled Quickly into Queen Sumitra's chamber .

I remember vividly how the events unfolded later that day , Queen Sumitra looked towards both of her Sons , and smiled in a little gesture as if saying to come close to her , and both Yuvraj Ram and Bharat crawled towards her

Vashisht : Kaushlaya , pls help my angels sit beside sumitra , I think their presence is going to soothe her

Kaushalya : Yes Sage , as u wish.

Rani kaushalya did exactly what was told

Strangely enough , the boys stopped crying , and Queen Sumitra calmed down completely , feeling relieved of all the pain , and she gave birth to the third Hier , Prince Lakshman. Upon his birth , a strange phenomenon happened was that the clouds went away , and the sun came out brightly , its rays kissing the Suryavanshi Flag on top of the palace making rishi vashisht to make the remark " I think the young prince hates thunder " . Looking at the newborn prince for the first time , I just could make out anything, strange and suspicion filled eyes , looking right and left with a big frown , as if scanning the whole Room , never saw such a mystery boy before.

Minutes Later , The youngest prince was born , and upon his arrival brought the good news to the palace that King dashrath had emerged victorious in war , thereby earing the prince the name of shatrughan - or the destroyer of enemies . Looking at him closely , his face was that of a naughty fellow filled with mischief .

Ram and Bharat had those big smiles at their faces , keenly observing their two little siblings closely , trying to touch and feel them , with Queen Sumitra gone to sleep after a tiring experience , and Kaikeyi and kaushalya trying Hard that in their Playfullness , they don't poke their fingers in the eyes of their brothers .

Some hours later , Ram and Bharat were taken away by the queens to their rooms , so as to give Queen Sumitra some rest and letting the new borns sleep peacefully. But again they crawled back to their younger siblings , and this time when they were abut to be taken away , not only ram and bharat , but even Lakshman and Shatrughan cried loudly , it was being quite difficukt to keep the four separate. At last , guru vashisht said " Let the boys stay together , they are destined it that way , we must not interfere with the god's way of working ".

And its that date till today , the four princes remain together , always.

No one eats or sleeps without each other.

Janak : That is some seriously strong bond I find among the brothers.

Vijay : Yes Maharaaj , although the four are supremely close to each other , if one observes deeply , its actually the Pair of Ram- Lakshman and Bharat - Shatrughan that are practically inseparable.

Sunaina : Pretty Much Like My Sita and Kriti and Urmila-Mandavi

Urmila : No Maa , our four sisters bond is the most deep , no one comes close.

Sita : Ok Ok , don't get so hyper , Why are u always ready to fight .

Urmila : But Didi...

Sita : shh... See vijay kaka is not finished yet , u better listen quietly.

Vijay : This reminds me of another event , what Happened Was , Just a few Months ago , All my Four Princes were playing with a hard ball in the Garden.

Maharaaj along With Rani Sumitra and Kaushalya were a few meters away eating fruits , and I was Keeping Watch . Rani Kaikeyi was Away in Kekeya Province to meet her father .

Suddenly , Bharat Threw the ball towards shatrughan , shatrughan ducked it , and the ball Hit the Old Manthara , who u can say is like granny to queen Kekayi

Though she loves Bharat Too much , Bharat quite never Likes Her , as she overly pampers him over the other Brothers , and I don't think I should say this or Not , she is not very Fond of Prince Ram.

Bharat Froze with fear as Manthara cried in pain and made a swift walk towards the four.

SCENE NARRATION BY VIJAY :

Manthara ( angrily shouts ) : Who Did this , I demand to be answered right now

Bharat hid behind Ram

Ram ( softly) : Mathara Ma , it was no one's fault , it was plainly an accident .

Manthara : So it was you , why did I even have to ask for the culprit , I should have guessed it already , who other than you can do this.

Lakshman ( angrily ) : Have u turned deaf you old ugly aunt , Ram Bhayia said it was an accident , he didn't say he do it

Manthara ( sarcastically ): Of course you are going to stand I support of ur Ram bhaiya , who cares for my Bharat anyways.

Shatrughan ( angrily ): I do manthara kaki , in fact all of us do , why are u trying to instigate us.

Lakshman and Shatrughan knew that it was done by Bharat accidently , but how could they have taken his name directly , after all he was as equally lovable to both of them Like ram

Soon a big hue and cry was Made , thereby making kings and queens to come there and intervene in the matter .

Manthara Tried to implicate Ram into the mess , while Bharat couldn't say anything out of fear .

Dashrath : I simply cant believe this that my Ram can do this , tell me putra , Did u do this on purpose.

Manthara : I am telling you sire he did

Ram : If Manthara ma is saying this , then its true Pitashree

Everone else was shocked

Lakshman ( in Ram's ears ) : why don't u tell the truth?

Ram : I cant , how can I let Manthara ma loose her prestige in front of Pitashree , specially when Ma kaikeyi is not here

Sumitra to Kaushalya : I f only Kaikeyi Didi was Here , Manthara wouldn't have dared this

Kaushalya : I know , my poor Son is being framed.

Dashrath ( with a heavy heart ) : All right Son , though I know you haven't done this , but I have no choice but to respect your explanation , so I hereby order you that for the next One week , You shall stay in the stables , look after the horses , and be given only one meal per day.

Ram : your Wish is my command Pitashree

SCENE NARRATION ENDS

Janak : what an extrodainary boy , at this tender age , his mature behaviour is beyond appreciation.

Sita : Prince Ram is really an exceptional human being from what I hear , He respects even those who don't appreciate him much

Urmila : But Didi, I don't like this , I mean just because of this attitude , see how others manipulate .

Sita : Urmi , why are u getting angry dear .

Urmi : Didi , I am feeling like aN inferno is burning inside Me , Oh that evil Bitch, How dare she do something Like this , If I was there , I would have thrown that Ball right at her face again.

Vijay ( starts laughing loudly ): Oh God , I cant believe this , you are exactly like him

Urmila ( Confused ) : Like Who ?

Vijay : Like the younger Prince

Urmia : Meaning ??

Vijay : He did the same thing , let me tell you

SCENE NARRATON BY VIJAY CONTINUES

Ram : Bharat , you have nothing to fear brother , now go back to palace

Bharat : But this is unfair Bhayia

Lakshman : yes , Bharat is right

Ram : Both of you , I don't want to argue further , I am proceeding to the stables , and off go you three back to the palace now

Lakshman : Ok borther , But before you go , I have a pending task to do

Ram : Now what

Lakshman picked up the ball and hit Right at manthara's face hard, thereby invoking strong reactions from everyone - the king and the queens.

Sumitra : Lakshman , what is this , is this the way to behave

Dashrath : I am extremely ashamed of this act of urs putra , never did I expect you to do this . You too now will go with Ram to the stables for a week and complete the ame punishment.

Lakshman ( smiles wickedly and thinks ) : Exactly what I wanted

As ram and lakshman walked to the stables :

Ram : Lakshman , why did you hit Manthara Ma , don't u know the manners , The suryavanshis don't raise hand on women

Lakshman : She insulted you brother , mark my words , anyone , whether a man or a women , tries to harm my loved ones , specially you , this lakshman isn't gonna spare that fellow. And wherever you go in ur life , you are not going alone , I will follow you as your shadow

Ram : Ok Ok , now come with me , my Hot headed brother.

Back in the garden , as bharat walked back towards the palace , he cast a evil smirk at manthara

Bharat : Don't you ever show me your face again

SCENE NARRATION ENDS

Urmila : See that's how u do it , She deserved to be hit

Sita : Calm down you hyper girl

Mandavi : But Vijay Kaka , I wasn't expecting this from Prince Bharat , he stood silent , didn't do anything , why didn't he take a stand for his brother , is he so weak

Kriti: And neither the youngest Prince Did anything

Vijay : Mandavi , Shrutkirti , each of them responded according to their nature . Bharat did respond , and it was his own way of challenging Maharaaj's decision . Staying silent doesn't always mean that you are weak , sometimes silence can be the greatest wepon , and I personally learned this from the prince that day . As for Prince shatrughan , His was the most extreme reaction

SCENE NARRATON STARTS

Shatrughan walked right into Royal kitchen and took a knife , starting to run back towards the palace

Bharat : Stop Shatrughan , I said stop , what do you think you are doing

Shatrughan : I will kill that old lady .

Bharat : Does this behaviour suit a prince , Look in my eyes and answer

Shatrughan ( agitated at Bharat ) : But you didn't do anything there , and neither Did I

Bharat : Don't worry , I have my own way to deal with It

From that Day , Prince Bharat went in a shell , he didn't speak to anyone , and neither ate any food

All others were terrified at this behaviour , soon he fell sick . Everyone would plead him to talk and eat , But he would never budge an inch . Rani Kaikeyi was called back immediately , but even she couldn't't manage to convince the prince

And when they asked shatrughan , all the answer that came back was

" Bharat bhayia wants ram and Lakshman back immediately , and manthara ma to apologize to ram bhayia "

But a man of his words , Maharaaj couldn't go back on his promise . Ram and Lakshman weren't told about this so as to not make them worry.

Finally , the situation deteriorated to such extent that it was now a matter of life and death , the prince wouldn't survive if he didn't ate in next 12 hours.

With no option Left , Mahaaraj had to break hi promise , Ram and lakshman were called back and finally all the princes ate together . Later That Night I heard Ram scolding Bharat a lot for this , and then crying and hugging him too

This was the first Time in many years that I saw Mahaaraj unable to fulfil his word , so harsh was the convincing method of bharat that no one could stand against it .

( By the time Vijay Finished , he himself had tears in his eyes)

Mandvi : and I was thinking him to be weak , silly me . I really admire how righteous he was.

Kirti : Didi , we all will stay together always , like ayodhya's princes

Urmila : yes , I am not leaving my three sisters , till death do us apart

Sita : Don't say like this Urmi , but yeah , we will stay together , always

Sunaina ( in thoughts ) : Innocent Girls , I fear how they will live separately after marriage

Janak cast a look on sunaina , grasping cent percent from her facial expressions as to what she was thinking

Janak ( in thoughts ) : Hey bholenath , I trust your Leela , I know u will find a solution to this.

CHAPTER 6 - THE RED MARK

Vijay was sitting along with King Janak and his entire family in the royal courtyard , while preparations were being done in the meanwhile for his departure back home to Ayodhya

White Sita and Kirti sat around a corner reading their lessons to be recited the next morning to Mata Gargi , Urmila and Mandavi's mood was way far off from any study , rather they were playfully fighting each other with tiny little wooden swords , trying to enact the war scene between the concluded battle between kushdwaj and Sankasya King Sudhanwa .

Urmila played the enemy Sudhanwa , while Mandavi played her father Kushdwaj

Urmila ( Enacting to Fight ) : Take this , On your Guard ...

Mandavi : You good for Nothing Traitor Sudhanwa , save urself if u can

( Constant Sounds of Wood Swords making contact with each other )

Kirti ( giggling ) : Look Di , The fight has started

Sita ( Worried ): I sense soon there is going to be a blast

Sunaina : GIRLS...( high tone ) , CAREFULL U BOTH , don't poke each other eyes

After a few minutes , Mandavi pushed Urmila and she fell down

Mandavi ( Jumping ) : Yayy , I won , u lost

Urmila ( Angry ) : That was a cheap Shot , u aren't supposed to push me , Kakashree would never do this to his opponent

Manadavi ( Smirk on her face ) : I was more into crushing you personally to defeat

Urmila : U devil , I wont Spare you

Urmila jumps over mandavi and both start scratching and pulling each other's Hairs

Kirti ( Laughing ): And we have a big blast finally

The mothers Ran to separate their Daughters from Each other's Grip

Urmila ( Angrily ) : I don't want to be the villain Sudhanwa , I want to play Hero

Mandavi : Oh really , But I am not letting u play pitashree's role , its mine

Urmila : Ok , Then I will play Vijay Kaka's role

Urmila runs to him

Urmila : Kakashree will teach me some sword Moves , so that I can teach a lesson this good for nothing mandavi .

Sunaina ( high tone ) : Urmi , That's your Sister u are talking about

Urmila : Yeah , a Rakshasi Sister.

Vijay kneels down to come to face to face height with Urmila to anser her rather innocent question

Vijay : Little Princess , As Much as I would Like to teach You , I cant . Its Ayodhya's Rules that its war tactics remain unknown to other Kingdoms . Its Only for Ayodhya or the kingdoms directly in relation with it .

Sita : But Kakashree , Mithila and Ayodhya are allies , isn't it .

Janak ( Laughing ) : Putri , Allied Diplomacy is different , What Vijay means by Direct Relations is...( Hesitates to say further )

Vijay ( Jokes ) : Princess Urmila , Lets make a deal , Become our Queen , And I will be happy to oblige with your request , In fact , then u can directly command for any wish , and I wont be able to refuse.

Urmila : Really ?

Vijay ( takes deep breath , then laughs ) : Yes , u have no idea how the youngest prince Shatrughan misuses this power.. I am always filled with commands to fulfil

Manadvi ( Mocking Urmila ) : Yeah Yeah , to learn to fight , my Sis can go to any Extent , and that means agreeing to marry too . So Kakashree , which of the four prince's you want to be slaughtered?

Urmila : Will you just shut up , Or I will slaughter you first .

Sita ( raised Pitch ) : Urmila , Mandavi , Quiet now .

Urmila ( now feeling shy and blushing ) : Vijay Kaka , lets just drop the idea

Kirti ( to Sita in ears ) : I never knew Urmi Di had the ability to blush too .

Few Moments Later , A palace guard arrives to the court with a letter

Guard : Maharaaj Janak , A message from the King of Ayodhya addressed to commander Vijay is here at your Disposal

Vijay : Aah... Exactly what I have been Waiting For

Janak : Please Read it Aloud

Guard : It says " Vijay , I am extremely Happy with the win , I have been told that Ayodhya's forces proved a good Helping Hand to King Kushdwaj and You have raised my Head high Once Again. Give my warm regards to the Royal Family and Make sure that that before you leave , the situation Is well checked , I want nothing left to chance , so take your Time and don't hurry Back before everything is normalized"

Janak ( with gleaming eyes) : That is so thoughtfull and friendly of him , I really appreciate all the help been offered .

Guard : Commander , there is another letter for you ,.

Vijay : Pls read

Guard : I am sorry Chief , Its unreadable , very poor handwriting , like from someone who has just learnt to write

Everyone present there are amused

Vijay : Hand it over to me

Vijay starts to Read , and laughs

Janak : What is it ?

Vijay : Maharaaj , it's a letter from our prince Lakshman , he has asked to return as early as possible , as he cant wait for his gift.

Sita( confused ) : Gift , what Gift ?

Vijay : Well princess , its sort of deal I have with all my young champs , whenever Ayodhya's forces win a battle , I am supposed to give them all some gift , u can say a token for celebration for the endeavours of our forces.

Kirti : That's Really Strange .

Vijay : Yes it is sort of , I cant even remember how it all started . You know Once I forgot this , and then prince Shatrughan remained annoyed with me for a week , only I know what I had to go then to convince him.

Mandavi ( sarcastically ) : You should have asked helped from Prince Bharat , he seems the master in being obstinate and getting his way through .

Vijay : I suspect all four were in on it , its just that they put shatrughan on the front line with a puppy face to confront me .

So I asked Maharaaj Directly for help

Urmila : then what happened

Vijay : U wont believe what Maharaaj said

Kirti : What did he say

Vijay ( laughing ): He mocked me and said " The king doesn't like to Interfere in other's personal matters ". Then I was like " Vijay , prepare for your toughest battle now "

Sunaina : Children everywhere are same , Look at our girls , they are no less demanding , except off course my Sita .

Urmila ( frown Face ) : Ma , this is not Fair.

Sunaina( laughs ) : Ok Ok , don't get angry.

Vijay : Maharaj Janak , reminding of gift , I forgot to tell You , Maharaj Dashraj has also sent a small souviner , I have asked the guard to get it from our caravan .

Chandrabhaga : OH , what is it , I am really excited to see it .

Vijay : you will have to see and judge yourself

Moments later another 3 palace gaurds were back with a square shape thing tightly vieled in a red cloth . They helped it erect it against a wall , and finally removed the covering , exposing the contents.

Vijay : Maharaaj Janak , may I present to you this painting of the Ayodhya's Royal family , made by Ayodhya's finest Painter just a few months Ago .Maharaj Dashrath was very upset that Still he didn't get a chance to come ovr to Mithila , so he wanted that at least you all could see them in another fashion at least . Please accept this as a token of his friendship.

"Its Magnificent " , was the chant from everyone present there

Sita : It is really beautiful , could you please tell who is who in this

Vijay : Sure princess.

Sitting on the Sun Shaped Throne is our Maharaj Dashrath , with those big Broad shoulders , u can notice the slight cuts on his arms , it's a symbol of the numerous wars he has been part of , and those battle scars just increase the glory of Suryavansh. Sitting right Beside Him Queen Kaushalya , easily recongizable with that motherly emotions on her face . Standing on right of Rani Kaushalya is the tall and elegant Queen Kekai , she often dresses very heavily with lots of jewellery as u can see.

To the left of King Dashrath stands Queen Sumitra , the calmest lady I have ever seen , the spark in her eyes convey the immense amount of Knowledge she has , it always looks as if nothing is hidden from her eyes

And there are my naughty ones in the front , sitting in front are My Rama and Bharat , Rama is easily distinguishable by his darker tanned skin , and Bharat with the most milky and pure face.

Right behind them standing are my Twin Princes , Lakshman and Shatrughan , Lakshman is the one who has his arms wrapped around Ram , and Shatrughan has his arms wrapped around Bharat's neck .

Kirti : Its so lovely , and look at prince shatrughan , his eyes are looking somewhere to right

Vijay ( laughs ): that's because when the Artist was making the sketch , The youngest prince was too hungry , and constantly his eyes were flipping over to a plate of sweets kept at side table .

Jannak : this is really Special , we shall always keep this close to our hearts

Moments Later , Sita and Urmila walked close to the painting , it seemed they had noticed something Strange , they both kept their Hands over Ram and Lakshman's chest , then looked towards each other in confusion , before turning back to Vijay with their question.

Urmila : Didi , did you see this Mark

Sita : Yes Urmi , Its kind of strange , very intruiging

Urmila ( turns Around ) : Kaka Vijay , whats this strange small Red design on Prince Ram and Lakshman's Chest

Vijay : Its ...( Hesistates)

Others now notice the mark too , it was like a symbol in blood red engraved on the chests of the two princes.

Kushdwaj : oh yeah , there is something , I haven't seen anything like this before , what is it vijay

Vijay : Raja Kushdwaj , Princess Urmila , the truth is I don't know exactly what it is. This mark wasn't there by birth , it appeared on their bodies sometime last year , We all had gone to Rani Kekai's Sasuraal for her Brother Yudhajit's Marriage , and Guru Vashisht and the boys stayed back .

When we returned , we found this strange mark on Ram and Lakshman's chest , when we asked them , they refused to tell , even guru Vashisht remained silent on it

I think Only him and the four princes know what this mystical sign is , nor the king , neither the queens have any clue . It is really a mystery , only time will tell

Sita and Urmila : What About Prince Bharat and Shatrughan

Vijay : No , they don't posses that mark , its very weird .

Urmila ( Twinkling eyes ) : Weird , but very Fascinating

Vijay ( laughs ): Anyways maharaaj , I think I should leave now , or I would have to face the tantrums of princes again . Can you please guide me to a good souvenir shop in streets of Mithila so that I can take some for my Princes.

Sita : Kakashree , if u don't mind , can I give something to you as gift for the Ayodhya princes , you have done a lot for us and I wish to thank you.

Other three : Yes yes , we would also give you something , you can take that back

Sita , Urmila , Mandavi and kirti rush back to their grand room to fetch things , and return back a while later

Vijay : This is indeed out of the box , I am sure my boys will love it

Sita : What I gave you is very close to my heart , but still felt like giving it to you , can explain how

Urmila : Yeah Didi , u r right

Vijay : Ok , I must leave now

Some time later , Vijay left for Ayodhya , as everyone else bid him Farewell .

Commencing nearly a two day journey , He reached Ayodhya Late in night , a few hours late arrival than usual as it Was the rainy season, and river sarayu was in full beast mode , so that had to take a long detour.Dashrath and Queens welcomed him back and congratulated him again.

Dashrath : Is Mithila secure Now

Vijay : Yes Maharaaj

Kekai : And how is everybody there

Vijjay : they all were so good maharani , never felt for a second I was away from Ayodhya , Felt it was a home away from home , and the four Princesses , so beautiful and elegant . Maharaj Janak and family have brought them up so well . I am pretty Sure in future they are going to become excellent kulvadhus in which ever kingdom they go

Dashrath goes into deep thought , till the thought is broken by Vijay's slight screech in pain

He felt in his back 4 sharp point ready to pirce the skin , turned back to see the four princes had put their swords on his back

Shatrughan( pouting ) : kakashree , You are late , My Gift

Sumitra : Putra , Let him rest at least , he is back from a long journey

Lakshman ( obstinate nature ) : Nooo... , we want it now

Bharat : Yes give give

Ram : Yes Kaka , No Delays on this front

Dashrath ( surprise and laughs ) : Putra Ram , you too .

Kaushalya : These boys

Vijay hold up Shatrughan in his arms : Ok Little Prince , Come with me , you three too

I have some wonderful presents with me

He took them to the caravan which was being unloaded at the main gate of Ayodhya

Vijay : Ok Boys , I have four things with me , choose one each , and no fighting

Each Picked one thing , and there was no fighting between them , because the things which they chose , they were destined to pick it up , it was meant only for them

Ram took hold of Goat Calf , which was chosen by Princess Sita , it was very close to her heart , she had found it injured on a pathway in mithila , and had perfectly helped it to heal back . Ram took it with Great Affection and kissed it

Bharat Chose a a beautiful Peacock Feather , it was Princess Mandvi's , she often used to tie it on her arms with a string when she wore different lehengas , Bharat had an instant attraction towards the elegance of the mor Pankh.

As shatrughan lifted his item up , the other brothers laughed , after all , shatrughan had picked up a doll made up of clay , and it was personally made by princess Shrutkirti. The doll was that of a handsome warrior Prince , all decked up in arms and swords , this is how she imagined her future prince charming , and this is how shatrughan imagined himself to be in future.

Lastly , Prince Lakshman got what he wanted , A medium sized mithril Sword , given to vijay by none other than Princess Urmila , it was handpicked by her in a fair in Mithila , and she used to practice daily with it , mandvi was really surprised when she choose to gift it.

And when vijay told them that it was the princesses of mithila who had chosen this and not him , all their jaws dropped in shock

They all went back to Palace to these to Maharaaj and queens , and all of them were pleasantly surprised too

Lakshman ( to ram ) : Brother , rest three gifts I get it , but how can a princess keep a sword with her

Ram : How am I supposed to know that , anyways aren't u happy?

Lakshman: But Bhayia u know everything

Ram : Don't be silly Lakshman , when u grow up , go to mithila and ask the princess herself

Their short convo was interrupted by sage Vashisht's Thunderous voice , He was Standing at the entrance.

Vashisht : Putra Dashrath , It is Time , Make The arrangements.

Dashrath's Smile faded away and his hands dropped , and the princess looked at the terrorized face of their father , unsure of the implications
