Ishu retreat and reaction ??

I am quite disturbed after seeing ishu' reaction outside dev's room followed by her instructions to Nikki and then her cold behaviour with Sona in the morning !!

Does she not want dev and Sona to have some private time or behave like normal couples in fact newly weds do !!!

Why ?? What is the competition there !!! Sona is his wife and has full right to romance Dev in her house sleep in his room and do whatever they both want to !!!

I have heard about worst of the worst mother in law issues but this one is beyond my comprehension ! Someone can please throw some lite on this ?

The way she retreated when she heard them giggling in the room and her expressions !!! What's the logic and what is the possible reason - Gosh this is soo disturbing !!!!

For Ishwari it all comes down to her rights on Dev. Nobody other than her should have a right over his love and affection.She feels threatened because Sona can give Dev something she can't.

Her behavior is out of my understanding as well..
She is insecure .fine
But what's wrong if two newly weds are having some private moments ?
Can't she just wait for Dev to come back to hall?
She purposefully send Nikki at that time .her jealous reactions to Sona's giggles says it all.

U can be insecure about your DIL taking over or taking part in kitchen,puja n other household chores as it has been your solo territory once.

But what's d point in being jealous with the intimacy of your DIL with your son?
My decent mind cannot reason it out .

Yes Ish definitely needs some psychiatric help. Her obsession with Dev is downright unhealthy. Her reaction after hearing them talk was pretty much expected. Infact I thought she wud herself disturb them n make them feel guilty about having a happy moment. She is insecure than Sona wud become more important in Dev's life and thats why she will now try to ensure Sona doesn't encroach upon her position in family n Dev's life.

I am glad others are finding this behavior disturbing. It can not be defined as just mother's insecurities. Skmething else. CVs need to stop this otherwise it will become uglier... a path they wouldnt know how to handle!ishwari is a mentally sicwoman.

Ishwari's jealousy mode (as like GF mode) was turned on when she heard Sona's giggles. How can Dev have a private time with anybody else. I certainly didn't see any motherly behaviour in what she did yesterday. It was more GF/wife getting jealous of another women in her BF's/husbands room.

I felt her reaction was , hesitant to disturb , not like others have felt may be we are reading inbetween the lines
