As always today's episode was good.đł Not special but I enjoyed it for few reasons. đł
And I wanna clap for the CV's again today for showing those contrasting changes and welcoming us also to the world of Marriage. đđ
Today's episode was again realistic for me:
1. How things change after marriage. The lovey dovey couple and their cute moments have taken a halt. đł
The wedding happens and suddenly in a day it makes them husband and wife who are now tied with responsibilities and have to manage time between these responsibilities and their personal time with each other.
It reminded me of how Dev told Sona that they will change from being lovers to husband and wife. And Sona told him they will always be lovers.
And here we see them being both, when together with each other, they are lovers but for other, now they are husband and wife.
Its not their way to look at themselves that changes but now the world sees them differently. And this was portrayed in a classic way.
Just like Sona is taking her time to adjust in the family and wants herself to be accepted by the Dixit's, Dev also feels the same for Bose's.
He always said he doesn't know what gift to give others and today again was no exception. There was nothing wrong in gifting the car coz his intentions were to gift the best he could. And yes we all also feel that gift should not be valued looking at its price. Gifts are always priceless..coz they have emotions attached with them.
This is what Mom taught him...But how come Baba didnt teach something to her daughter.
So here comes a wise thought from his lady love. No darling your thought is not wrong...But our thoughts differ coz of the backgrounds we come from.
I know you don't need to look at the price of something before gifting it coz now you are rich enough not to look at the price tag. But I come the same middle class environment where need to see our pockets and not just intentions before gifting. And so how can we accept a gift that we cannot give?
Dev understood..he always does when Sonakshi explains. But he is upset and hurt which was natural.
2. Before marriage, when Sona used to miss him, they used to call or message each other and Dev used to come running to meet her, Sona listening to the horn used to run to meet him. Today the same girl, silently takes out his pic from the cupboard and talks to the photograph.
There is no change in her missing Dev but a change in how she remembers him. Just in a day how her missing has changed into remembering Dev.
And just like a understanding wife, she's telling herself that she will not fight with him when he is back.
3. There is very little of "Me" and "Our" time. Its been only a day, and Dev and Sona have hardly got time for each other, even themselves.
Before marriage, many times Ishwari used to ask Dev where he is going and he used to tell he is going to meet Sonakshi. Today, the two of them living in the same house are not getting even that small moment to spend with each other.
4. "The" Dev Dixit, who was after Sonakshi's life to just give her a new phone (as he had broken her phone) did all that he could. He tried both harsh and sweet ways and made efforts for it. It was only my way.
Here today, a similar kind of situation and it cannot be just "My way" now.
I have found another reason ...Dev is improving đ
5. Its not just between Dev and Sonakshi now, its between families.
Saurabh dada returning the car keys to Ishwari that were gifted to him as Shagun from Dev and Dixit Family.
I liked the fact that Sourabh returned it to Ishwari and not to Dev.
Dev might have been the one to buy it but Sourabh received it from Ishwari.
Also, a small act of Sourabh must have made Ishwari feel her importance as the elder of the house.
But at the same time I think Dixit's lacked in showing the same. I expected them to atleast call if not visit the Bose's and speak with them on returning the shagun.
Just sending Vicky with the shagun nowhere reflected the elderly act.
6. We might sympathize will people but what we really need to do is empathize.
On one hand Dixit's sent back Bose's shagun through Vicky but just on the other hand when Sourabh did the same (infact only returned what was gifted to him), it was not a good gesture as per Dixit's.
It's so difficult to put ourself in the same situation as others. But here when you are in the same situation, and doing the same thing, you still feel the other is wrong and your act is justified. How human na?
Ok..same situation, same actions but the manner of doing things...Yes, that makes a hell of difference and here too it did. Brownie points to Sourabh on how he conveyed it to the Dixit's. Just on the other hand, I expect Vicky to do just the opposite.
7. I didn't expect Bijoy to speak the way he addressed Dadi Bua and Ishwari.For me, there will not be any difference between him and GKB if he speaks like that of others. But I give it to him, as he might have said that in the heat of the moment.
8. The biggest mistake and the big difference here was no one informed Dev and Sonakshi about returning the Shagun to Bose's while Bose's knew of Sourabh going and returning keys to Dixit's.
Secondly, since Sourabh came to return his gift on his own, it was ok. But Dixit's returning the shagun mean
I can smell that another Fight is in Pipeline? đ
9. Ishwari did it for Dev before and today too it was all for Dev. Like always, I don't hate her, I understand the kind of mother she is.
She doesn't have problems with Sonakshi. And she is ever ready to be there with Sonakshi to help her with things.
The only difference is her behaviour when "it's for Dev" and "it's with Dev".
When its for Dev, Sonakshi will always find her with her. But
When its with Dev, Sonakshi will find her between her and Dev.
Its so true...
How when two people are in love, their conversations are around what they will do after marriage, how they always think they will have those lovely moments together all the time. Marriage happens and now they get to know what they thought of was only in conversations coz now there is not just the two of them but many others around. Yes, they will have lovely moments but not all the time. And time will be a lot dependent on others than them.
