A grandmother who has a set of rules and religiously follows traditions - Why does she limit her rules only with the bahus? The ones that I have seen in my real life were all strict and very rigid with everyone... Especially any female in the house... Be it her own grandchildren or their friends or the guests or any face entering the house..

Why isn't she complaining anything about the other girls in the house? Is Ishu covering up for her daughters telling that Rhea or Nikki will jump into a crash course for cooking before their marriage 😆?! And that she will teach them all traditions in fast forward mode before they enter their in-laws house 😉? Or is it that these girls are all prepared for any exam from their grandmother?! 😲 Then Ishu should have warned Sona too, before inviting her special mentor to her darling son's wedding 😆.. And should have asked her to be prepared with all the prerequisites before the marriage 🤪.. After all it's to boast of her son's success in marriage and show-off her own bahu qualities that she has invited the woman to the wedding... 😉

If it's for just her blessings then it's all done by now.. 😃

BTW did Dev even share few words with this woman?! I remember he taking her blessings at the sangeet and in the wedding.. that's all... Is it so important for Dev to have Sona impress this grandmother?! Why is Ishu hell bent on having Sona impress her?! If it's all for her son's pride then where is he fitting in all this?! Isn't he supposed to be there to take the pride in his wife while Sona is put through all these tests?!

Following a ritual just to maintain the image?! Then what all will one be forced to do to keep up that image?! One follows the tradition not to preserve the mere ashes of the dead but to pass on the flame from their life history... And what is the flame they are passing on here?!🥱

Ishwari & Bua- Double standards

Dev- Poor kid was upset because his gift was respectfully returned.How else will he express than by throwing temper tantrum?His wife suffering through all the lame tests alone? But my gift was returned!Nobody understands me

Jiska pride ke liye Ishwari itna strategy kas rahee hain, usko to padi nehin hain. Lekin jisko woh insult kar rahee hain, uski pride ki koi fikar nehin.

Ishwari knows Sona very well. She is not the type of woman who can lie easily. And the worse thing about lying is that when you get caught, you are doubly insulted as a lier and a cheater.

She knows very well Sona can't cook. Radha also told Buaji the first day that she can't cook. So handing over a detailed list knowing she can't cook was a test which was pre-rigged to make a person fail and look bad.

If Dev was there, he would have said the same (I hope, although I am never sure). And Ishwari would have nodded the same way Dev did. But he was not there and Ishwari won't say a word to Buaji if Dev is not there to marvel at her generosity. Hence, Sona is in this position.

😆 Both of them played the return gift game.. give and take.. give back and take back.. one values their own pride and the other values their own beliefs.. ok agreed...

what's the big deal now? Yes it will be.. Dev is upset that his affection has been rejected because they see money in it.. Later Sona will be upset that her family's affection has been rejected because they see fish in it.. deal over.. one more night holding the bed corners.. 😆

First tell me where that fish was overnight? They could not tolerate fish for two seconds, but kept it overnight to return to Bose family to deliver with insult in spite of knowing that they didn't do it?

whatever is happening... it all comes down on Sona from every angle. dadi bua, ishwari and Dev.. all making Sona feel less of a person, humiliating her one way or the other. Dev Babu, or should I say Baby, just knows how to throw tantrums when things don't go his way.. utter disregard for other people's sentiments... but that's the Dixit way!!!! it's ok for Dixit's to return the entire shagun but not ok for saurabh to return an expensive gift that is clearly out of boundries😕

I am waiting to see what Dev Baby does when he finds out his mataaji and dadi bua sent the entire shagun back to Bose family, without his knowledge😉 will he throw a tantrum at them? Dixit elders talked of parampara and whatnot when saurabh returned the OverlyExpensive gift. How is this gonna be OK?

exactly like the halwa situation... to make Sonakshi look incapable of being a wife whereas Ishwari.. the maHaan can handle anything.

They threw the fish that very minute.Now they had a problem with the shagun because a fish was even in the vicinity.Great thoughts,yeah?🥱Such intelligent lot.(Or did I miss something?😕Didn't Bijoy and Elena say Dixits threw the fish?)

i just dont get it... if u have so much about ur tradition n culture. Then explain to other person. how come that person knew about ur culture or ur tradition?

Kya Shadi karne se use sab intuition ho jate hoge naa... like yeh pooja ese karni hai k vese karni hai.

I would like to see Sona giving the credits to Ishu after hearing the praises from the new woman.. 😉

And I would have loved to see Sona asking Ishu to let her try it her own way and put a show on her own.. however bad it is.. 😆 If they comment on her cooking feeling sad for Dev, she can always say "Dev loves his Maa's cooking.. And she doesn't want to compete with it.. " 😆 Anyway the ladies of that house need that only right..
