Tejaswini asking chakor to stay back. Is it because of her ego and desire not to lose or because she loves her son and wants him to redeem himself? Don't know the story between them but was thinking if it was worth making her child a pawn in order to save face.

Thus far it seems as though Tejaswini's motivation is to one-up Ranjana. She's used Suraj to further her own agenda once before as well (when she and Ranjana schemed to throw Imli out of the house).
