So remember when Omkara attempts suicide - later on in the famous kitchen scene, he placates Shivaay by telling him that his intention was not to die. He only wanted to sleep. He wanted to escape for a while.
So then how did he end up in the pool? Unless he sleeps in the pool, which doesn't quite sound plausible.
Then was Saint Omkara - the epitome of truth and morality, lying to his beloved elder brother?
He attempted suicide. He then lied about it. What authority does he then have, to preach honesty and morality?
CVs is this just a plot hole, poor characterisation or a compromise of Om's values?
