ikr the only thing i am excited about in the hindi remake is that we will get the hindi lyrics but then going by history after i heard saathiya's original album i don't like the hindi versions so let's see and yeah i don't understand the words either in tamil but they sound so much better in tamil . I actually love alaipayuthey ( i hope i spelled it right) way more than saathiya . also i detest detest shaad ali caz he never makes anything original just keeps ripping mani sir's films like ughghhg why being his assistant in your earlier days doesn't give u the license to ruin his work

Not too thrilled about the cast of the Hindi remake - but yeah looking forward to the music.

I also can totally see Abhishek-Meera like that - their vibe is really similar 😊

Mani ratnam has this fabulous way of storytelling that'll make a seemingly ordinary story stand out. Like alaiypayuthe. Every lead in his movie have that ' chemistry'.. Invariably!! Don't know how he manages that.
