Hey everyone ! 😊

I was waiting for Dev-Sonakshi marriage from days as I expected a sophisticated and graceful marriage but much much much to my disappointment, it came out bad.

Marriages only happen once in delicate shows and I love the fast pace of our show BUT what were these silly creatives thinking when they directed and written marriage episode?

It was POORLY directed, and background tune was too loud at times which made some dialogues difficult to hear. Too much drama with that cruel Mami GKB and Dadibua, was beyond limit and no conversation between DevAkshi made it a less likeable episode. Even Sindoor daan wasn't shown properly. It's TIME we tell creatives that they are showing too much drama and less quality.
Otherwise Unnecessary Drama will be increased in show and it will become unbearable.

What was the Need to show 85% of DRAMA in marriage episode and 15% of marriage? Why? Marriages only happen once. They ruined it, shame on them.

There was no close shot of Dev and Sonakshi. They did not talk to each other in whole marriage. Every couple talk in between their marriage. It wasn't looking realistic. Characters appeared more tensed instead of happy, drama was everywhere.

Where is that Sophistication?

Shame on you creatives, you ruined the much awaited shaadi. Even Bidaai was shown in hurry.

Why both cultures were not followed in marriage? This would have avoided nonsense you shown. May be that's why.

Anyway, I loved episode when Dev and Sonakshi got married, when they smiled😳.

It's time we give warning or make creatives aware that we dislike such dramatic episodes.

Aur kya kahun... wish they didn't spoiled it.

Regards Dev.

It's not dear..I think in Bengali culture, they won't wear mangalsutra...that's why they edited and actually, they promised that it will be real type saadhi
Therefore, we have seen so much complain... First of all, it's a inter-cultural marriage so there will be problem of disliking and other things we know how in Indian marriage, mostly groom's family or relatives complain about facilities or they have a habit of doing complaining about bride's family...so CVS r only showing reality about Indian marriage.
They said u will feel like real marriage, that's why they focused on that type of issue.
And many fans r talking there should be devakshi talk during wedding going on, so when we have seen bride and groom talk during wedding in real life. We all know they both r mainly silent.
So,just relax guys

Completely agree with your post.
It was a big let down. Kya kya sochi thi aur kya dekhne ko mili. Too much OTT drama , very few happy feel good scenes , too much unnecessary negative scenes that could've totally been avoided easily. Devakshi didn't at all talked. It looked so odd . Every couple talk, smile and whisper in between rituals nowadays. Some even take selfies.
They could've at least showed their conversation during the drive towards Dixit house after marriage.
THe leads were treated as if they're just side characters and the rituals were berely shown. I was aghast.

I loved the episode. It was surprisingly so well balanced with so many stuff in one. Only one huge disappointment is the direction and DeVakshi having very less face time and focus. I was expecting some good shots and eye locks during the mandap time. I have to rely on the IVs for those it seems. Didn't mind the drama much. I was expecting it. And it would have looked odd if an intercultural marraige went smooth as makhan. I found the clashes funny. xD Specially ladke wale getting scared at Ulu. xD I like how the show never stretches anything. I was like itni jaldi hogaya shaadi xD I was expecting it to be going till Monday by regular standards. Overall it lived upto the expectations for me.

Very much agreed. Will comment later.
I have pretty much said everything about this. As a Bengali I was highly offended and I am assuming so was every North Indian brahmins who watch this show.

It's not like CVs didn't have Bengali cast. Moon Banerjee or Asha is Bengali. I am not sure, but the lady who plays Dida is also Bengali because she spoke flawless Bengali. Bijoy Bose, Saurabh is not Bengali nor is Elena from their pronunciation.

They could have asked them about the rituals. Moon Banerjee also had an inter-cultural marriage. She could explain inter-cultural marriage better. But either CVs didn't bother or decided to modify the information to create drama.

Actually it was glaring obvious to whom they are focusing more, If you have noticed they had stretched the drama ,taunting and insults part more. The wedding rituals between couples they had rushed like anything.

The wedding was shown as very grand, Dev and Sonakshi looked so dapper and beautiful. The character of Dadibua in this show is useless, makes it a part of the typical Saas Bahu shows, it was not needed in a show like KRPKAB! Happy that Dev and Sonakshi are married. Now Dev needs to ask Dadibua to stop interfereing...
