Dear All,

Regarding the mahaepisode of shaadi, I feel it was quite close to reality. When two diff cultures meet, so contrastingly opposite to each other, with no trust in between, fireworks are bound to happen.

Even in normal weddings these incidents occur. But the way Ishwari and Mamaji handled everything, was what stood out today. Seeing Ishwari bending so much for her sons happiness also goes with the theme of the show...she can do anything for him! And Mamaji was so understanding...he handled Bijoy well!

And what to talk of Asha Maa! She was so soo graceful and genuine! She really wanted to do her best to please the Dixits but all her efforts were going in vain! She portrayed the plight of the daughters mother in Indian weddings so beautifully? Hats off to her!

It would have been better if they had shown a little more of Devakshi scenes during wedding though.

All in all a good episode, again very close to reality. That's my point of view. U guys can differ in your opinion.

And yes, they could've showed a bit more of devakshi..

I agree. The clashes were realistic. Marraiges never go smooth so a intercultural marraige is bound to have clashes. Like you mentioned Asha , Mamaji and Ishwari saved the day. They didnt stretch the on one drama yet included three differences within an hr. I really would have loved if DevAkshi had some more moments. I was looking forward to the mandap sequence for them. But they were a blink and miss. Anyway overall it was a really good episode.

They could have avoid clashes if each others rituals were discussed before. But how they handled it amazing.

Ishwari was genuinely happy for his son and tried to understand everything genuinely. She was hurt quite a few times but she didn't created a scene and tried to understood.

Mamaji is truly like a father figure to Dev. He is like a peace maker who managed everything well. His smile actually reached his eyes. He was happy for Dev.

Asha Bose is a strong lady who did all for her daughters happiness. She tried to make everyone happy, understood their problems,shared her genuine concerns. The way she was holding back her tears and explaining the rituals was commendable.

Overall i loved today's episode and felt for each and every character.
