So a painful episode. ...mainly focusing on raman internalizing his pain of losing pihu to shagun, and mani being a reason. .
A string of impulsive emotional decisions follow..but what i liked is ishita understood him damn well..and there was no judgement or lecturing but she dealt with him the way he dealt with het when she was irrational when ruhi rejected her. ..so actually this is a rehash of the whole ruhi rejecting ishra ..but roles reversed.
Raman did wrong by firing aliya..the poor girl didn't deserve to be fired due to a personal quarrel and I am glad both adi and ishita and mihir pointed it out. I think Raman realized it too..hence he left the field to ishita and walked out..else the impulsive raman coukd have saud and done much more damage..ishita stood her ground and explained to raman why she was taking a decision. .fair enough...
But on a serious note..as a professional I think it's wrong to allow mihir adi and aliya to work together anyways due to all that has transpired. .but i certainly don't think cvs can ever think seriously about such things..so no point going there...
Raman remembering pihu at the bar. .anf talking to her..finally we get to hear pihu's views about missing her paapa. .phew., thank you cvs for small mercies..but in the very next line she says she is 'very happy' with her mumma, mani uncle etc. .and how she went to a Chinese restaurant etc etc. .nice...salt on already raw wounds for raman..and nd our great vamp has saud if raman talks to pihu. .and nd nd pihu reciprocates., then raman will take her away..and pihu blindly believes it...wow. .very convenient again...
But KP was excellent here., and then comes the call from the bank that is to loan mani,..and raman obviously does not give a good character certificate to mani...fair enough too..why should he., and to raman's credit., he certainly didn't go out and try damage mani's reputation. .why on earth did mani recommend raman as a guarantor. ..when just weeks bavk he backstabbed him...stupid of him...no one else is to blame here. ..and I personally woukd have done exactly what raman did...
Ishita was worried sick about raman...it felt good to see that strangely. , And When He Entered Drunk ...the questions she asked were valid. .but raman wasn't in his senses to listen...
Ruhi again behaved like a daadi amma..counseling both her parents. .
But then came the scene of the day..ruhi suggesting they make a video for pihu..and raman immediately changed,.his body language. , Expressions. .his saying he has to look presentable..his washing his face and practicing what he woukd say..his breaking down while saying pihu I miss you beta. ..and then wearing pihu's fav colour..and ishita watching him throughout..was a lovely stand alone scene..just for the mind blowing performance of both leads...KP was so so good here...and DT supported him well..no dialogues..only their eyes spoke...
No words for shagun and ashoks stupid dirty plan..
But i loved the RuMan scene in the precap. .raman admitting that in his pain for pihu he seems to have ignored ishita...wow...that was music to the ears of a ishra fan..
