I don't know where I have been searching for my connection to DevAkshi. Yesterday gave me some sparks of memories.
In the way he looked at her, and danced with her alone, outside her house. There is a fierce protectiveness in him now, for Sona. I like that. Her trust doesn't seem misplaced. But his desire to please everyone will be sorely tested.
This makes me think that the secret, locked up in that drawer is going to be exposed very soon. And at the rate GKB and Vicky are going, I am afraid to say that it might be them who do the deed, for maximum dramatic impact. You know, for TRP aunties.
Boses are feeling melancholic about Sonakshi's leaving. Their scenes made me tear a little. What a sweet family. I really felt it when Bijoy was asking her to promise to come to him, if there was any problem in her saasural. It was sad because, she can't do it. She will feel obliged not to "complain" to her parents , so as to not put them in a difficult spot.
On the other hand, Ishwari has sincerely accepted Sonakshi's presence in Dev's life, I think. But then again, At wedding times, one can be so busy in preparations and handling relatives that one suspends their usual grouses until a later time. Well, one can wish, that it goes away.
Dadi Bua is the mother ship of all this crazy notions of mother worship. She is giving renewed lessons to Ishwari. I was shocked that however well Ishwari behaves to her saas, she will always be a DIL, never a daughter of the house. i suppose that is a lesson for me too.
Sigh.
Don't get me wrong. I love my mom a lot, and respect her. But i also have healthy arguments with her when she is being gossipy and tries to manipulate me..😆.. But by the end , we always make up. She is always the first to spot that something is wrong, just by looking at my face. And I can never successfully lie to her. Love is like that.
Some grouses:
1. I so wanted to see Elena apologize to Dev and Sonakshi for making a scene (or scenes) at their Sangeet. She may have not intended to, but she did draw a lot of unnecessary attention to herself. It wasn't her fault, but she should have felt bad to contribute to negative aura. Even the bride and groom felt like they were border patrol.
2. I hate GKB!!😡😡😡 ... Vicky was behaving atrociously and she had the nerve to not be ashamed by his behaviour. But she is going after Elena, for sure, and that makes me nervous. I secretly think Vicky likes Elena, and is doing a stupid bad boy routine to get the girl. Beware GKB...!!
3. Why was Neha having the same "sour mango in the mouth" face (as GKB) during the Sangeet?
4. Dev's hair looks great !! ... He needs a more flattering sherwani though, because no one should look so good in his pajamas.
5. The saree melodrama is so *eyeroll*.. Please people... Immediately my brain was giving ideas. Wear Ishwari's lehenga, and wear Baba's saree back to maaike after !? Many couples take photos with all the outfits they like and keep the photos for memories..
