Lata M's voice makes your ears bleed especially when she hits high notes. Still she was a favourite with music composers.

And now we have Shreya Ghoshal continuing the tradition. Does the Indian public really like such thin voices for their singers and the female singers to always have high pitched voices?

Yes love her voice and songs... Except Chikni chameli... Which I think was apt for Sunidhi...

she turned 87 today..listen to how voice when she was shreya or sunidhi's age and you will know that she was and will always be a legend.listen to her classical raag based songs which some of today's singers can only dream of singing the way she did..
