I think Gul would introduce a new character. Although, I personally was never a great fan of the way Ishaana was characterized, Vrushika was a decent actress(in my view)and somehow she is stuck in my head as Ishaana(especially after the confrontation scene).
The last thing I want Gul to do is get a new face and add the whole 'plastic surgery' angle to it. But since it's an Indian show I and I'm not sure what I can expect, even from a show like Ishqbaaz.
As for Ridhima, I like her but I don't really think Gul will make her lead. GK seems to be hell bent in the whole opp attract theory and the names(Shiva-parvati combo)
I guess we have to wait and watch.
On a diff note, I think Omkara's love life is jinxed first Twinkle Patel and now Vrushika Mehta
