As ishita didnt went to school ,so Raman came to check on her only to see a big lock on her house.he enquired with her neighbours and came to know that iyers went to Chennai as their relative expired.Raman's face fell hearing this as he was so used to her ,can't think of her going away.he went home with a sad face and sat on the sofa .he saw a pink suitcase and wonder how's it must be.after thinking alot he thought may be simmi came home.he got happy thinking about his sister and ran to see her in her room.and saw a girl sleeping on the bed covering till her face.
Raman- aa gayi meri chutku.saying so he laid beside her and start tickling her.she start laughing saying ,chod do.
Raman realised it's not simmi,he remove the duvet off her face and saw ishita looking at her with an angry pout.
Raman- chotu tum yahan.tum tih Chennai gayi thi naa.
Ishita- actually aunt brought me here as amma appa don't wanna take me along.exams hone wale hai naa.aur main bhi nahi jaana chahti thi.
Raman smiled a little hearing her words and said- why so.
Ishita- coz I don't want to miss u.she said looking down.
Raman kissed her nose and said- thanks for not going leave ur Raman alone.he said and went to his room.after an hour Raman called her to his room and start teaching her .after that they had their dinner and was about to go to sleep when ishita said- Raman mujhe ice cream khani hai.
Raman- no chotu,it's too late.go and sleep,we have to go to school early morning.
Ishita nodded when toshiji said- le jaa naa,choti bachchi hai.ice cream hi toh maang rahi hai.ishita puttar u go,Raman is taking u to have icecream.ishita nodded happily and both went for icecream.ishita had to buckets of icecream while raman was just admiring her.she was a cute little baby with cute antics.on the way to home she slept hugging him. Raman make her sit facing her and she slept holding him tight.Raman hold her protectively and took her to home.he made her sleep in simmi's room and went to sleep in his room.but he couldn't sleep as his mind was occupied by that little angel who coloured his life with her cuteness.he was smiling thinking about their happy moments and slept hugging his pillow.
Next morning ,he got up and get ready .after that he went to her room only to see her running here and there to get ready coz she got up late then usual.Raman saw her arranging her books in a jiffy and said- chotu I am arranging ur books.u braid ur hair.
She nodded and braid her hair fastly.Raman took both the bags and they went down for breakfast .they had their food and soon was off to school.there school was as usual.they met at lunch hour and had their tiffin together.after school they come home together only to see the house filled with many ladies,who r dancing and applying mehendi.
Raman went to his room while ishita stand there only looking around,it all was so colourful .Ishita was too happy seeing all this as it was a new experience for her.she went to toshiji and asked- what going on aunty.
Toshiji- ishita puttar,hum sab karwachauth ki taiyyari kar rahe hai.
Ishita- karwachauth?? Woh kya hota hai.
Toshiji- u go and change.then I will tell u.
Ishita nodded and went to change.soon she came wearing a pink frock and sat beside toshiji and said- now tell me what's karwachauth.
Toshiji- iss din sab apne pati ke liye fast rakhti hai.
Ishita- pati kya hota hai aunty.
Toshiji- oye puttar tujhe pati nahi pata.
Ishita nodded in no.
Toshiji- oye puttar pati woh Jo aapka bahut khayal rakhta ho,jisse aapki bahut fikar rehti ho.jiske saath aapko achcha lagta ho aur jisse aap kabhi alag naa hona chahe.jaise tumhari amma ke pati appa hai,aur mere pati bhalla ji.
Ishita thought for a while and said- achcha matlab joh hamari care karta ho ,jaise appa,toh appa mere pati hue.
Toshiji smiled and said- oye nahi puttar,har kisi ke liye koi khaas hota hai .tere liye bhi koi khaas hoga.joh tera bahut khayal rakhega ,tujhse bahut pyaar karega.
Ishita- sabke paas pati hota hai aur sabko vrat rakhna padhta hai.
Toshiji- haan puttar rakhna tob padhta hai.
Ishita- aur koi naa rakhe toh.
Toshiji- toh uske pati par vipatti aa jaati hai.
Ishita- kaun si patti aati hai.
Toshiji smiled and said- not patti, vippati matlab trouble.
Ishita- toh sab bhookhe rehte hai.
Toshiji- haan puttar,kitne sawaal puchti hai tu.chal aa main tujhe mehendi lagaa doon.saying so she started applying mehendi on ishita's hand when she saw OM written in toshiji's hand.
Ishita- why u have written om here aunty.
Toshiji- woh bhalla ji ka naam hai naa,every wife write name of her husband in her hand.saying so she continues applying mehendi in ishita's hand while she is in deep thought.first she don't know who is her pati and secondly she had to fast for her pati warna vipatti aa jayegi.she thought to ask to toshiji that who is her pati but someone called toshiji and she couldn't ask.she went to her room and start searching her husband's name in her mehendi but couldn't see anything.
Ishita- yeh aunty ki handwriting kitni gandi hai,kaise padhun aur pata lagaun ki kaun hai mera pati.she thought and took a magnifying glass to read but couldn't read anything as nothing was written there.after struggling for half an hour ,she could find something written like R,actually it was design but she thought it's R.
Ishita- OK toh mere pati ka naam R se shuru hota hai.but how can I know just by initials as I know many with name with R. But aunty said ki pati bahut caring hote hai.kaun hai caring,she was thinking when Raman came to her room and said- mujhe lagaa hi tha ki tumne kuch nahi khaya hoga.aap main khila doon tumne mehendi lagayi hai naa.he said and start feeding her.while she was looking at him without fluttering her eyes.
Ishita- (St)aunty ne kaha tha,joh loving bd caring ho.joh bahut pyaar karta ho.tih aise toh bas Raman hap appa ke baad.toh kya yahin mere pati hai.aur inke liye mujhe vrat rakhna hoga.she was thinking and looking at him when he asked- what happened chotu.what u r thinking.
Ishita nodded saying nothing while he continued to feed her lovingly.he made her drink water and said- ab so jaao.OK.he said covering her properly with the quilt.
She nodded and closed her eyes but open it as he went.
Ishita- Raman hi mere pati hai,kyunki he loves me and cares for me alot.toh mujhe unke liye vrat rakhna hoga warns unn par unn par paat vipatti aa jayegi.she thought and slept.
She couldn't sleep peacefully as she was worried how she will fast all day as she can't stay without eating.but she was determined to fast for him as she don't want any trouble for Raman.
She got up hearing some chaos in hall.she went to see toshiji on dining table eating something .
Ishita- aap raat mein kyun kha rahi hai.
Toshiji- it's a ritual to eat before keeping fast.
Ishita- mujhe nahi bulaya,mujhe bhi toh bhookh lagi hai.she said cutely.
She laughed at her cuteness and said- come puttar I will feed u.
Ishita came to toshiji and she fed her and then both drink water and ishita went to sleep while toshiji was busy in her work.
Ishita- ab toh ritual bhi ho gaya,ab tih rakhna hi hoga vrat.thinking so she slept.
She got up and went for her daily chores.she got ready and went for breakfast just then she remember that she has to fast.her face fell thinking she can't eat but she was determined. She made up her mind and was going when she saw mehendi cone kept there.
Ishita- aunty ne thik se nahi likha hai Raman ka naam.main khud hi likh leti hoon.thinking so she took the cone and start writing his name .she wrote,Rama,when Raman tap her shoulder and said- what u r doing chotu.
She turn to him in a jiffy and said hiding her hand- kuch nahi.
Raman- dikhao kya hai.
Ishita didn't show him and ran from there.she was sitting in the chair and looking at his half written name.
Ishita- ab kya karun.she was thinking when she get an idea,she took out her pen and write N and smiled fully.
Ishita- ab Raman ekdum thik rahenge. She thought and smiled fully.
Soon all gathered and toshiji start serving food.
Mr bhalla- bhookh tih nahi lagi.
Toshiji -nahi I ate enough in the morning.saying so she was serving to ishita when she said- I also had enough at that time.ab bhookh nahi.saying so she ran out of the house amusing Raman and toshiji.
Raman- kuch khaya nahi.may be she is not hungry.saying so he had his breakfast when toshiji said- Raman puttar,ishita forget to take her tiffin and water bottle.u please give her.
Raman took the things and said- OK maa.saying so he went out thinking why she did not eat anything.
