Nakuul Mehta popularly known for his current role Shivaay Singh Oberoi shares a unique obsession with his onscreen character in the show Ishqbaaaz. Just like his screen image, Nakuul keeps obsessing over his looks and his mirror is a constant companion. The actor is very touchy about his hair as well and keeps fussing over it till he is satisfied with the way it's done.
Nakuul calls out to his stylist the moment the shot is cut and insists on setting his hair. His hair stylist is seen roaming around him holding a mirror so he could set the hair whenever the actor summons him. The actor's obsession is well known and his doting co-stars Kunal Jaisingh, Leenesh Mattoo, Surbhi Chaandna and Nehalaxmi Iyer got together to gift him an antique vanity mirror. Amused by the peculiar gift, Nakuul says, "All of these guys had been telling me that they have this surprise for me, little did I know it would turn out to be a vanity mirror. I am extremely particular about my hair and like to keep a check on it intermittently. The gift however, came as a surprise to me and it was a very sweet gesture on their part nonetheless."
