Yane ki yeh movie shelved. Yaad hai woh Dharma ki Basic Instinct jo yeh Emran Hashmi ke saath karne wali thi? She was supposed to grow (😆) sixpack abs.

How is the preparation for Veere Di Wedding going on?

The prep is fab. It is going to be an amazing movie. Normally, every actor wants to do a hero-heroine love story. Look great, shoot at good locations, I am going to be fab etc. But I don't want to do that. I always wanted to do a movie which is slightly different. There has never been a movie about four friends. I am most excited about this film. Whenever there is a news that I am not doing this film, I am like why are people saying this? We will shoot for the movie in October and of course there will be a break. Then we will shoot in Delhi and Greece from March. I don't play a pregnant lady in Veere Di Wedding. I might not have a six-pack but I will have a three pack by the end of the movie (laughs).

Did Sonam and Kareena read the same script?

While there were rumours that the film's story has been changed to suit Bebo's pregnancy, Sonam rubbished all such news and told, "If Kareena had not gotten pregnant, we'd have had to use prosthetics for her character to look pregnant. So in many ways, her pregnancy is God-sent for our film."

Q. Was Kareena's pregnancy written into the script in Veere De Wedding?
It was already a part of the script. We were aware of her pregnancy. As a matter of fact, we were waiting for her to get pregnant because that was part of the plot.
