I think he may come after ImVaan confession and reunion, so that the story solely focuses on SuKor and KN. After ImVaan get together, SuKor may head for the impending divorce but before it can happen, they'll realize that KN is coming back. Because KN has decided to come back AFTER the divorce happens so that Suraj is open and vulnerable. So I guess Suraj or/and Chakor will know that he's alive BEFORE the divorce. It is a very simple prediction.
