You wont look back,
never remember, maybe
But I want you to know
that i still love you baby
The times we spent together
the way it all began
the first look and
i knew you were the man
Waiting for your calls
how it drove me insane
hand in hand on the beach
the dancing in the rain
The sleepless nights and
long hours on the phone
hugging my pillow so tight
breaking its every bone
Reading your text messages
over and over again
How the distance provided
unbearable sweet pain
Why did it all end?
did it have to, this way?
Why couldn't it all last
for just another day?
I'd hold you close and whisper slow
and atleast say Goodbye
I'd hug you tight and kiss you sweet
In your arms I'd sleep and cry
I still remember, and I still care
and i still love you baby
Did my rhyme refresh your mind?
It did stir you, maybe...
