Whom is Adi protecting??

Tell what do you think who could be the person Adi is saving that can do the crime on Aliya?? According to me , the day when it happened, looking as the way Mani was looking for Aliya, I have a absurd feeling that it is mani.. How he was asking to Shagun, where is Alia. Another person could be Mihir he might also be in love with her, so to remove Adi from his path, he may too be the culprit as he reached to the meeting later with Ishra?? Please say your views what do you feel on this and why??

I think it might be his friend agastya (hopefully i spelled that correctly), but then again if he was the one who attacked aliya why would adi support him by hiding his crime and taking the blame upon himself; wouldn't he have blasted on his friend for hurting his friend and lady love?

I think it could be Shagun and Adi found out. Maybe Shagun is blackmailing him in using Pihu's safety...
