Episode dated 2006.

Avni sitting alone in the rain contemplating on who she is. She is such a tantrum thrower yet cute.

Ashudi trying to stop Avni from, calling her dad to discuss something. And then daddy returns her call and promises to come and visit his queen and princess❤️

Ashish looks like a straight forward no nonsense guy in his professional life but personally he can't fight for his right to love against his mom who is sick but refuses to use medication. 😭

My favorite scenes- AshRuNi

Avni raising the question as to why her dad needs to keep on the down low while visiting them in the colony. In a normal family, a dad takes his shoes off and the windows don't need to be shut as if they are trying to hide. Ashish promises Avni he'll be at her competition and meet her friends. Judging by the precap- her heart might be broken😭

The Lori scene was heartwarming and emotional.

Three souls broken by

Avni u go girl. I hope u fire those questions on those who are blinded by mediocrity, ignorance and regression.

Mahesh Bhatt has done a fantastic job with the casting.👏 Great first episode. The story is already laid out. Similar to Zakhm but since it's a serial it'll be more detailed..

Can't wait for episode 2.

Very good write-up. Ashish is torn between the love for his mother and love for his family.

He is in a difficult position where he has to choose between them - for him the issues is not society's norm or religion. It is an issue of respect and love for a mother because he understands his mother. He understands that for his mother it is important to live by the norms of society and religion. He understands that for his mother an integral value is maintaining ones religious roots and that her self-image is closely tied to upholding societal norms.

This he has communicated to Ashudi - that is why she is understanding of the constraints placed on their relationship.
