Dhoni is a face that connects with the YOUTH audience and if the makers have chosen to make a movie on his life, they have very well figured out that people would love to watch it as they can connect to it while Dhoni is still a sports person and very popular too. Dhoni hasn't struggled? I disagree as everyone doesn't become a captain in few months but it takes a long time and he was the first captain to achieve so much success in a short span of time.
Who isn't arrogant today? Does that mean they don't deserve to be appreciated for their achievements? Sachin being considered the God of Cricket too did not manage to be a successful captain and was criticized a lot and when Dhoni managed to make a successful team, credit should only go to the players? Not Dhoni? Was he not the one to change players and make the overall team win the trophy? Choosing Nehra was a tough decision in the Pak game and they won it because of those important wickets. It's Dhoni who I have always found who remains cool under pressure and doesn't care about his individual score but thinks about his entire team and his main focus has been the make the team win. Now how easily people say any dumb captain would have made India bring the world cup and disregards his efforts.I, for one, would love to watch his story as I haven't ever read about his early days and a biopic doesn't mean that the person, whose life it is based on, is senior or his career is over years ago and it's not the case that all people prefer to watch those biopics.
