Dhoni hasn't struggled? I disagree as everyone doesn't become a captain in few months but it takes a long time and he was the first captain to achieve so much success in a short span of time.

Who isn't arrogant today? Does that mean they don't deserve to be appreciated for their achievements? Sachin being considered the God of Cricket too did not manage to be a successful captain and was criticized a lot and when Dhoni managed to make a successful team, credit should only go to the players? Not Dhoni? Was he not the one to change players and make the overall team win the trophy? Choosing Nehra was a tough decision in the Pak game and they won it because of those important wickets. It's Dhoni who I have always found who remains cool under pressure and doesn't care about his individual score but thinks about his entire team and his main focus has been the make the team win. Now how easily people say any dumb captain would have made India bring the world cup and disregards his efforts.

I, for one, would love to watch his story as I haven't ever read about his early days and a biopic doesn't mean that the person, whose life it is based on, is senior or his career is over years ago and it's not the case that all people prefer to watch those biopics.

dhoni and his links to srini mama , enough said

^It doesn't matter to me. I still believe he deserves the biopic and he is the best Indian captain IMHO.

yes he deserves bio pic but not when he is still playing , just money earning tactic which is understandable on part of producers

I agree...but Dhoni is very young...we don't know what great things he is going to do still...his biopic is kind of incomplete...I am all for Biopics but they should wait for a person to atleast be of some age before they make a biopic on them...

My main problem with dhoni biopic is those romantic songs. They make me feel awkward. And they are promoting it using those songs and romantic angle more than the struggles n achievements. Hope the movie is better and has a miniscule portion of romance.

As per the knowledge i have and various reports from many journalists from Ranchi, Jharkhand, M.S Dhoni is considered the most arrogant personality by the people of his town itself. No doubt he has led to India's victory and has many achievements.

But is he such a big humanitarian, such a big achiever for which a biopic had to be made?
Indians love cricket, but cricket records is not any big international achievement.Only a few countries play. Some countries havent heard of it yet. Even if we consider the game to be a big one, fine. But is he so so big in the world of cricket that his struggle to be in Team India is extraordinary?

I reserached about him and did found his struggles are same or less compared to the struggles of other achievers who made it big. He was TTE in railways. So was SRK sleeping in matunga station, mumbai, so was dhirubhai ambani working in petrol pump station, so was jamshedji tata and AR Rahman,.Salim khan, father of the countrys biggest star salman was himself from a poor background who all struggled to make a name for themselves.

Dhoni is young and has lot to achieve and see ahead in his life. He was not born in 60's in a deplorable family with nothing to eat, no money to go school.
Even if his struggle are accepted, still he is not that great as Sachin, Saurav or Dravid .

What did that neeraj pandey got in his brain god knows. Biopics should be to show the journey of an extraordinary person. Although Dhoni, is a awesome batsman but sorry, not great enough to be made a biopic on him.

I remember how a journalist friend of mine told me how he let his ferocious dogs open to the journalists whom dhoni himself gave appointment to meet.
He is arrogant, played dirty games inside and offside field and still as if he is the bholaa bhaala cricketer who spend days in childhood sitting under street lamp to study. Bull shit nonsense.
Biopics should not be about career achievements but also how the person has conducted himslef in his life. He is not humble that i hear from almost even his close ones like Virat Kohli.

Making a film on MSD was totally uncalled for.
Next will be biopic on rakhi sawant .

nice post. for being blunt n saying truth, post n poster will be awarded n honored by calling crap,garbage..etc...different shades of lectures, essays n awards n honors lol. d famous scandals, schemes, scams n colors n colorful ppl are qualified n deserving ones to bolly biopics mostly 😆
