Actually it's the other way around TM

Bcz I think the South Indian version was released first, and then this dak dak song came later, dak dak song was inspired by this one

Madhuri Dances on Sridevi's Telugu song Abbani Tiyyani 😆

Trivia:

Indra Kumar offered Sridevi Beta as he was really keen to work with her. Sri refused it simply because she was doing too many movies with Anil at that time.

Though a big hit at the time of release, the movie itself is crap (Indra Kumar 🥱) but had good songs and made bearable by Anil & Madhuri.

The musical composition is totally copied, but are the lyrics same too?

One thing is clear, Madhuri-Anil song was far more sensual and well picturised.

Hindi version was more sensual, filmed while being simultaneously inspired from Mr India's Kaate Nahin Kat Te

Thats what I said. Kaate nahi kat te was more off a confession song and highlighted chiffon saree😆😆 whereas here it was lust and Madhuri's dancing.

Beta itself was a remake of a South Indian movie( forgot which language, either Tamil or Telugu but not this movie posted here)

Anil Kapoor used to work in lot of South Indian remakes and they were successful
