Has anybody told you that you resemble Dev Patel from The Lion?

I get Andrew Garfield a lot.

Terrence Mallik's movies have exquisite cinematography, but are very polarizing movies as in critics love them, most audiences hate them. So if he wants to make those kinds of movies, good luck !

What I like though is his commitment to cinema. He seems to be serious about his craft unlike his sister. But he has the time and ability to sit back and pick and choose his movies because his father and uncle did all the work by accepting and making all kinds of films to build the family fortune. If he was an outsider with dreams he would take up even a secondary role on TV to make ends meet, not sit three years on a Mirzya. Most people want to make "good cinema" but when it comes to making a living, most do not have that option but grab what they get to have a career. He seems a bit obvious to that.

People and their utter distaste for star kids. Stop letting your biases cloud your judgement. Nepotism or not, industry kids seem to always be better actors. The most wooden actors seem to be outsiders from Katrina, Jacqueline to John and Sid. The most talented actors we have today are Industry kids see Ranbir, Shahid, Alia.

So give the dude a chance, Can't just write him off because he's Sonam Kapoors brother.

Not to open a can of worms, but which outsider you know has been truly given a chance. Most outsiders have been impressive. An "outsider" (not belonging to a film family) like Ranveer has been impressive, PC and Kangy have been most impressive. Deepika worked her tail off to become what she is today. I can tell you generations of starkids who failed despite given multiple chances. Who knows what someone like Kangy or PC faced to get where they are ? I will always, always be biased against starkids unless they prove otherwise. No apologies.

The best actors are Nawaz, Vidya, Irfan, Kangana...all outsiders. This guy looks more like Athiya Shetty/Esha Deol category to me rather than Ranbir Kapoor. Ranbir was pretty good in his debut too irrespective of how his film did at the BO.

Harshvardhan is very handsome. He seems arrogant but very focused on his work. I think he's not lying when he says he's very much into characters roles. Btw he does say he wouldn't be against doing something run of the mill.

I don't think being an insider is a bad thing. Sure they get into films more easily but that's only because they know the good person ; it happens in every industries.

Let's wait and see if Harsh is as good as he think he is. In the meantime here is a pic proving he isn't as bad looking as some people are making him to be.

People nameing here and there some starkids and how they are talented. For them its easier to show us their talent but if there was no father uncle and so on do you think they would still have made it? Some of them come across as really lazy and arrogant or even shy. I am not sure if they would have the strenghts to work their way up going to auditions or buildung connections here and there . They maybe would let go of the idea becomeing and actor and would do rather something else. But these are things we will never know.

A ranbir, Arjun, Varun and now Harsh they grow up in the world of Bollywood they get the chance to work on sets of acclamaied directors they learn in some cases from their family and their friends about the craft of acting. They get to learn a lot about the industry before even makeing the first step infront of the camera and already have a lot of connections with those people.

Right now they are trying to hype Mirzya and something like this you get to see only for Starkids and they are already on some covers of magazines giving everywhere interviews. I dont know how it was at the time of HR or ABjr launch but this gen. starkids was the same be it RK, Sonam, Arjun, Alia,Varun, Sooraj. Some are more priviliged than the others. they can already try things out just the way Harsh is talking now. An outsider doesnt really have time for that cause flop is flop and you can be so talented as you want to be if you are not bankable why should they put money into you.
Its good for him if he is talented and can do such stuff but i hope he just dont starts later with the struggle how he has to live up to the expectations of being Anils Son.
