Can Salman really take credit for HAHK?

His role was barely noticable. Madhuri was the star of the movie and the only reason it did so well on the box office was due to the family setting and the feel good wedding enviornment. What do you even remember about Salman in the movie? Infact Tuffy had a more noticable role then him. People often credit him for the biggest box office movie ever but is it even rightly deserved? He was as important as a coffee table.

I think everything played a role in the success of HAHK... Salman, Madhuri, their chemistry, the songs, the premise.. Sab hi ka tha.. Han agar is forum ki favorite cheez, opening ki baat karoge, tou woh ziada thi ya kam, Madhuri ki thi😆, lekin success is as much as Salman's as Madhuri's

HAHK was a movie where every scene had like all the characters in it.

I could think of Bajrangi Bhaijaan where he had a pivotal character role but as Prem in HAHK it wouldnt have matter who did it. The only reason that movie did well was because of the wedding theme and family entertainment. What exactly Salman did which was memorable in the movie? He had no action scene, nor some strong acting performances, nor some crazy dance moves.

When he hit Madhuri with the slingshot and jumped on top of the chandelier. Thats iconic right there

I absolutely remember Salman in the movie. The coughing thing they do from the beginning to get each other's attention as a theme throughout the movie. The holding hands under the table on the day she goes back home. How he wants her to sit next to him and he does it in front of the both families without drawing attention to them. The whole movie is vignettes of scenes of them playing off each other. That is called chemistry and it happens with two actors who play off each other, so how is it Salman never contributed anything or was barely visible ?

Salman is someone who dominates a movie with his screen presence. HAHK is one of those rare movies where he had chemistry because he was paired with someone who had equal screen presence and both were such beautiful people to look at. Actually Mohinsh Behl and Renuka looked gorgeous together too. Also it is a movie with Salman as Prem and no one is Prem other than Salman. People have tried but failed. So in a SB movie with Salman as Prem he can only be invisible if people are blind 😉 😆

If Salman's role was really not noticeable , he won't be getting credit for it 20 yrs later now 😆

I think Shahid made for a great Prem too
