Shraddha or Alia- Who is the bigger star?

Recently, KRK called Shraddha "Lady Salman Khan" because I think every film she has done has set the box office on fire post Aashiqui 2.

Recently, someone asked Box Office India who was the biggest star among Alia, Shraddha and Kangna, and they said it was a toss between Alia and Shraddha.

It's true Shraddha has a better box office track record, but that may well be because she has done more commercial cinema. Having said that though, Alia did Shaandaar, a commercial film, but a flop.

I did not include Parineeti in the poll because at the moment she is not in the same league as Alia and Shraddha, imo.

^ No doubt that Alia is the better actress, but my question is more about their stardom.

Of course Alia is better actress than Shraddha . Her acting skills is better than Shraddha . But flop or hit doesn't depend only on acting . Story and Actor does matter alot.

Alia has wayyy more media and industry support, but it seems like the ground reality is that Shraddha is more popular:

What is the status of Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in Bollywood in terms of popularity?

A. Shraddha is one of the most popular female stars in the country. At smaller centres, she's way ahead of Alia Bhatt and could be in the Top 3 after Deepika and Anushka.

That being said, Alia is a much better actor and that will always matter more in the long run.

Shradha is the bigger star as of right now. If she could improve on the acting she would've more of a overall package.

Alia has one heck of acting skills for someone as young as her. Looking forward to more of her work.

Strictly stardom, yeah most probably Shraddha is bigger at the moment but I think that's temporary. In the long run I believe Alia will enjoy greater stardom.
