Episode starts with Akshara handing out the aarti to everyone including our Kaira. Happy to see them in the beginning of the episode today as well.😃 Even though it's not exclusively only Kaira.😆 Not finding Dadi among the rest Akshara enquires where she was. Everyone assumes that she would be resting owing to her health problems. Akshara leaves to find Dadi . On the other hand we see Nannu having an argument with Dadi over the syringe she found on him. When she threatens to reveal his truth to everyone, Nannu gets tensed and follows Dadi, begging her to not do it. Amidst their squabble, Dadi looses her balance , resulting in her tumbling down the flight of stairs while Nannu looked on. A horrified Akshara screaming helplessly runs to save her as the others alerted by her scream rush in to see what had caused her to react the way she did. As soon as Akshara notices Nannu at the scene she doubts foul-play, yet she chooses to keep that fact to herself.
Everyone is absolutely shell-shocked to witness the scene, including a distraught Naira who can't seem to think straight as she screams for help. As everyone leave, Karthik's eyes fall on the syringe that was left behind by Dadi. Immediately doing the math, he concludes that Nannu might have a hand in the incident. As soon as the thought hits him, he leaves to investigate and get to the bottom of it. As everyone else, completely anxious are seen hovering over Dadi and praying for her to open her eyes, we see Karthik searching for Nannu everywhere and leaving fuming, disappointed over not finding him. As Karthik leaves, Nannu is shown genuinely repenting for what had happened and begging Dadi to forgive him for unintentionally being responsible for the state that she was in. I guess I was wrong about him. I genuinely felt bad for him today. He's not inherently bad. However it doesn't change the fact that those were his choices in life that have put him in this particular situation. He can only blame himself for it and no one else. Addiction is never the answer to anything. Period!😵
As we see the doctor deem Dadi's situation as serious, everyone are seen breaking down especially Akshara. Karthik unable to find Nannu tasks himself with taking care of the little ones. As Kuhu asks Karthik if Dadi was going to suffer the same fate as her deceased mother, we get to see a new face of his. For the very first time, the not so collected Karthik. The vulnerable one! HE is lost in his own thoughts in which we hear him recall a memory of a kid begging his mother to not leave him. Giving us more reasons to doubt that the kid was probably Karthik himself, strengthening our theory that Karthik had probably lost his mother at a young age. Explains why he was so insistent on Naira giving another chance to her mother and helping them re-unite. So many questions answered! I'm genuinely happy that the writers have decided to at least address this particular plot line right now so that it doesn't seem like it was dropped on the audience out of nowhere when they finally explore it fully.❤️
As soon as he snaps out of it, he tries to appease the kids and help them calm down by asking them to not worry assuring them that everything was going to be alright. When the kids continue to voice their worst fears it causes Karthik to react in what was probably a knee-jerk reaction causing him to shout. As soon he said it however he realizes what he had done. He apologizes to both of them especially Kuhu as he understands where her fears were coming from. He tries harder this time to convince them that it truly was going to be okay, promising them that since Krishna was his friend he would definitely listen to their prayers. The last line from him to his friend "Saalon pehle bhi main apse aise hi request kit hi, lekin tab tak shayad bohot der ho chuki thi, is baar waisa mat karna Krishna" is enough proof to solidify our doubt that indeed Karthik had lost his mother at a very young age. As we see him console the kids, we see a sobbing Naira turning to look at him, at them and leaving as quickly as she came.😔
Finally we hear hope for Dadi and there is collective sigh of relief. Karthik however, un informed of the situation is seen still worried for her as we see him pacing outside and place a piece of paper (a letter perhaps?) in front of Krishna. As Naira sees him, she comes to inform him of the situation and everyone's condition in there. When Karthik hears it, he immediately understands her. Of what she was going through and he instantly seeks to comfort her. Borrowing from his own experience, he tries to make her understand that she isn't alone and that he knows what it was like to lose a person dear to him."Jab kisi apne pe kuch guzarti hain toh uske saath saath humare saase bhi atak jaati hain, koi apne ko aise nahin dekh sakta" And in the process, unintentionally confides in her his own encounter with the dreadful situation. "Aur bhagwan na kare agar us apne ko kuch hojaye, toh kisi apne ko chahte hue bhi nahin dekh sakte ho who bohot takleefdayi hota hain Naira. Usse zyada bura kuch nahin ho sakta" The sheer amount of pain that he has kept hidden from everyone until now, COMPLETELY obvious in his voice and the tears in his eyes.🥺
But as soon as he sees Naira breaking down, not being able to see his Naira being a sobbing mess, he forces his own suffering to take the backseat. Once again collecting himself, knowing that he had to stay strong for her. He knew exactly what he had to do to get her to stop thinking like a defeated person and get his fighter Naira back. So we see him try his magic on her, "Shey!...Yeh meri Naira nahin hain. Yeh aise darjathi hain? Yeh aise haar maanne ka time nahin hain, yeh fight karne ka time hain, ladne ka zid karne ka, apni zid manwane ka..aur yeh aansoon..aise time pe? Naira? I hate tears". He convinces her to fight, to win the "test game of life". To never accept defeat even if was against a veteran player like Lord Krishna himself. And it works like a charm. He is glad to see his "sherni" Naira back as he hears her declare "Aise kaise haradenge! Mere naam bhi Naira hain. Mein nahin jeethne doongi inhe. Sunliya apne ? Mein dekh longi apko ..dekhloongi". He immediately corrects her "Mein nahin HUM! Hum dekhlenge" with absolute conviction!❤️ Naira agreeing with him. As he turns around, we see a lone tear escape his eye and we see him challenging his Krishna that this time he was more strong and their fight much stronger "ab to is paar ya us paar" Because this time it was HER!❤️
Okay Can I just have a moment to be a complete fangirl and just squeal about how bloody amazing this scene was? OH MY FREAKING GOSH! Momo blew me away with his performance tonight! OUTSTANDING! DAMN! I wish I had better words that could exactly convey what my feelings are after watching that scene and his performance!❤️ Gahhh! Sooo goood! So incredibly good!
Damn it! :😭😭This man makes it impossible for me to not fall more in love with him with every passing episode. Ohh lawwwd! When you think you can't possibly love him more than you already do, he proves you wrong AGAIN and AGAIN! ❤️
*Skipping the part after it with Daadi and everyone*
Karthik finally expresses his doubts about Nannu to Naira along with the syringe that he had obtained. Naira agrees that he might actually be right about it since she had seen people in Rishikesh use the kind of syringes that she now held in her hand. Karthik tells her that he had always had his suspicions regarding it but now he was sure about it. He was also sure that there was definitely a connection between Nannu and the incident with Daadi. Naira finally realizes that Karthik was right and that they were crazy to not have seen the signs that were all along in front of them before. But as Karthik proceeded to discuss the plan with Naira we see them look surprised at having been heard by someone behind them.
On the other end as everyone tries to understand how the incident had happened, Akshara is seen remembering how she had seen Nannu being all tensed and leaving the place as soon as she saw him. Deciding that although she did have some answers to their questions, the entire truth could be given only by Nannu and she leaves to find the answers.
I knew it! It was Varsha.😆 As Naira quickly tried to pass off their discussion as nothing important, Varsha tells her that she knows they weren't just talking but discussing Nannu. She asks them to tell her everything they knew about him and requests them not to keep anything from her since she also shared the same feelings regarding him. Not the one to be hasty, Karthik asks her what she was talking about and what she had seen or exactly felt . When Varsha narrates to them everything she had seen, heard and observed, Karthik tells her that he had gone in search of him after he found the injection however he couldn't find him anywhere. As Varsha tells them that she feels pity not anger towards him, worrying about the kind of company and situations that made him turn into what he had become, we see Akshara herself in search of Nannu. She stops when she hears a mobile ringing. She follows it to find Nannu hidden behind the door of a room. She asks him to fess up. To tell her about what he was hiding from all of them. Her throwing one question after another gets him scared out of his wits and he finally confesses to Akshara that he hadn't pushed Dadi down the stairs on purpose. While Akshara was trying to make sense of what he was telling her, Kaira along with Varsha manage to find them. And as soon as Karthik tries to tell Akshara the truth about him, a panicked Nannu escapes the room through the balcony.😲 Their requests for him to stop, falling on deaf ears.
Precap - WHAT THE FREAKING FUDGE?!!!😲😲😲 Yay! No! I haven't lost it people.😆 Of course our hero isn't going anywhere. Pfft! Duh!🤔 I'm not worried 😎 In fact I'm all for the stabbing track. 😃 So who else is excited to watch Naira taking care of an injured Karthik? Btw who else wishes it was Kaki ji and not our pyaari Dadi who had fallen down the stairs? 😡
