I'm Swetha. I started watching EDKV very recently, my mummy has been following the show since beginning, so i have seen bits of it but its only this week that i started watching properly. I remember seeing the starting promos and it was very interesting but i was staying at a hostel at the time and never got around to give it a try.

Now that i started watching i really like it.

I love whole calm, simple setting of the show, it really sets it apart from all the high voltage drama serials.

I read up the plot till now from wiki so i just have a small idea abt it, if anyone here could tell me the important stuff from the story i will be really grateful.

ShraMan - they were secretively friends in high school while he had a one-sided crush for her. They were kind of family friends too. Shravan's parents had ego clashes and one fine day his dad manhandled his mom, she left her family without being divorced. This incident hurt Shravan and when he turned to Suman for emotional support, she too rebuked him in front of the whole school but it was her immature behaviour being just a high school girl. These two incidents made Shravan to move to London for his further studies for ten long years while he kept carrying all the emotional baggage for all those years. He returned after ten years like an MCP filled with anger for women on the whole. Suman is an orphaned girl at the age of 8 years who's been living since then with her extended family. Her nanu (Tiwariji who's also Ramnath's teacher) loves Suman the most. Even though her aunts and uncles love her it doesn't stop from both them and Suman feeling that she's a burden to the family. She was a bully in high school while being a friend to Shravan, was image conscious and din't like nerdy Shravan around her in school. She repented ignoring Shravan andhas been waiting for his return for the last ten years to apologise and patchup. With Shravan's return the story started... so much has happened to explain all of it by myself

He came here to take revenge for what she did in the school, so he called all their friends for a party, till then she was happy on his return though she knew he was still angry! But when he insulted in front of all, she was hurt and left the party, Around the same time the house were she stays with her family was illegally taken over by Khosla and had sent notice to vacate the house. Naanu being guru of Ramnath wanted Shravan to take up the case as Ramnath was away from the country, SO he sends sumo to ask Shrvan to take up the case, though she was not willing she goes to him and when he rejects to take the case she meets another lawyer verma who was their schoolmate and later SHravan will come to know that the lawyer had bad intentions for sumo and the day when the case comes for hearing, shravan was returning to London but since he knew about the verma he returns from the airport and directly goes to the court and sees verma misbehaving with her and slaps him and takes up the case and wins the case for sumo and her family. In the process they come closer and will have feelings for each other.

Later there are instances where the get opportunity to help each other and they become integral part of each other. Then comes the return of Shravans mother Nirmala who he hates, Sumo plans to meet mother son and the day she decides to bring them together, SHravan wanted to propose her and before he could she brings his mother in front of him and everythings goes for a toss!!

Ramnath who till then liked sumo starts hating her and brain washes SHrabvan against her and SHravan who considers his father as an idol believes him and thinks sumo is also a self centric woman like his mother and any other woman and starts hating her, then Ramnath plays tricks to separate them and will be successful to some extent and in between again they realise that they had misunderstood each other and try to sort things but again ramnath on realising this will play a game by taking promise from sumo to go away from shravans life in return to the marriage of Pushkar and Preethi (sumo's cousin). Sumo will agree for this as preethi's parents Sumo's aunt and uncle have taken care of her since childhood and she has got an opportunity o give it back! Her rude behaviour towards SHravan will irritate him and will start disliking her! This track is still going on and on...

Lot of Misunderstandings are created between them and it has gone to an extent that they hate each other. Now last week SHravan protects her from her would be husband while he molests her and this will again make sumo go soft on shravan...

It has come to stage that now their marriage is fixed in spite of them not liking to get married but for the sake of their family they agree to get married...

Their marriage will take place on Monday.
