Agreed. I like actors who surprise me. Watching her in OSO was torture, and when I saw Piku, it was like a breath of fresh air. I couldn't believe she was that same actor. Sure, she isn't all that great, but I like how she constantly works on it. Look at Alia in SOTY, and look at her in K&S.

Katrina was the new 'hot' face when she was introduced. It was okay then. Nowadays, you have a new 'Katrina' springing up every now and then. If you want to stay amongst the top names, dance/looks will only last sparingly.

Same here. Actors' performances need to speak to me. If you don't connect with the character, it does nothing.

Alia and Deepika have indeed worked on their performances, which is why they're able to sustain themselves.

Since Katrina wants to continue in Bollywood, she should definitely consider learning acting an important step.

I think people are getting smarter and want good acting from actors!
Kat didn't improve one bit in all these years. With all due respect, I think Kat is a slow learner. She can put effort physically, but otherwise she seems shaky.

just yesterday i watched back to back movies of hers

BAH followed by Piku

and i could not believe she is the same actor in both the movies

her transformation from being a non actor to a pretty decent one who gives brilliant performances occasionally is just WOW

Movie business is such..its not just one point approach. Naysayers criticised her brief role in fhoom iii but from all dhoom movies people remember her kamli and dhoom songs from dhoom franchise..she doesn't hv control over how much will be edited on editing board. Dhoom was a plus..now she could've not done Raajneeti since she was taking a huge risk but she did it..and was appreciated..

I think after so many years Kat doesn't want to do a role which Jacqueline will do..people need to grow..

She doesn't need the money now..she can afford a risk here n there..30 is supposed ring a death knell for actress but she gives younger actresses a run for their money..with how she looks..things are changing..
