Ok I am done hating Shravan Malhotra and feeling sorry for Sumo. If this were indeed real life, SM would have a couple of blood vessels bursting and Sumo would either have run away or committed suicide.
Since this is not real life... and thank God it is so... I am still a happy girl 😆.
Today as I was watching the episode I was like why is Sumo treading the same path again. Same mistake, this time for mami. Is she going to be any happy with Shravan than she would have been with Adi? Here is her ex-friend, fellow human being... who seems to have the least bit of compassion for this girl who went through a really bad experience that no girl should go through. She agrees to marry him, without thinking of the consequence.
He congratulates her on the marriage and says finally you are going to get married implying that no one wants her!! He says a lot more but its so blaa i would rather skip that part. Is this love? It seems to be no where near love.
She is still hopeful, very feeble hope but, that hope, her trust and respect for SM is going to go away with the Adi revelation.
From another angle... something we have not given a thought till now.
We see Sumo entering the Malhotra household at the juncture where Nirmal had left it; interms of the unhappiness quotient. Their situations were different, Nimmy entered this house on a happy note but left when the going got tough.
Sumo is entering this house with nothing positive to look froward to... with no hope from any corner. Some thing tells me that its going to be Lalji and maybe Pushkar who will be her anchor in that manhoos house. Sumo is once again that lost, scared kid of 6, entering a house where no one really wants her (PP dont count) and a husband who hates women in general and her in particular. And worships his father.
But, unlike Nirmala she will try to build relationships. What did Shravan say about her, Ambition, Poison and selfishness about her.
Ramu is soon going to get his revenge by asking Sumo to not work in PCT. I kind of go back to the conversation that she had with Niru long long ago. She asked Niru why was she not willing to give up her career for her family. Sumo would be faced with the same choice... and I am pretty sure that she will give up on PCT. So ambition will be struck down... what do you think SM will do if he has to see the day when he is proved wrong 😆😆
PS... and how many times will she keep repaying her debt? Did she not repay everything with Preeti's marriage, she gave up on Shravan. So why would she do this again now? It was clear that had Mami not pushed Sumo, she would have said no to this wedding.
