Btw, this is what I mean by subtle acting, something which SKR writers know nothing about. This is one of the saddest scenes in the show, one of the most tragic, and yet Krishna is able to portray his pain and emotions without going overboard, without becoming OTT in his expressions.

No. She has been able to tread a fine line which most of the authors have failed to. Krishna Udayshankar in her book makes Panchaali ask Govinda to marry her because she doesn't want to be reduced to an object that would be won. She wants to be more than that. This is why she asks Govinda to marry her and save her from this heartbreak. Govinda refuses blatantly and says to her that in her hearts of hearts she wants glory and fame. And if she indeed wants that she will have to sacrifice more than what she can lay a claim to. This angers Panchaali and she throws him out her chamber. But realizes too soon that this is indeed what she wants.

The love that Krishna has written her book regarding Govinda and Panchaali is the cosmic love we've have in our scriptures. That is why I say that she has scored over most of the writers on this front.
