Ah! So many amazing memories!
I was always and is a Teacher's Kid... So I'm forever so full of love and appreciation for my Teachers!
But these two are the fondest :
I was in Jr. Kg and my Class Teacher was a Christian. On the first day of school, I was sitting in a corner, seeing all the kids cry. Was a bit amused coz I wasn't crying and she saw it. Then after sometime, thinking that it was a ritual to cry on the first day, I started crying with best efforts. She came and asked me why did I start to cry, if I was missing Mom. And I told her my logic. Obviously, she bursted out laughing. From that day on, we became the best of friends. And she even called me to her Christmas Party. She had called up an year back, 12 years after my Jr. Kg! I was so pleased!

And the second one :
I was very ill and had to go for Hindi Interschool competition. I literally couldn't get out of bed! But then my Hindi teacher came and took me to the Competition. I took part and we won. And during the entire event, right from feeding me food to making sure I wasn't feeling cold, I never felt Mom wasn't around.

...

True guys! There is no Age to learn. Learn karna chaho toh poori zindagi kam padd jaati hai!
And with such amazing teachers, I'm always a Game to learn!
Cheers to all these wonderful People!

Such a wonderful post. Will always be indebted to everyone in life I have learned something from.

So as a student...especially in high school and college...I used to haggle a lot about my grades with my teachers and later professors. After they returned tests...I would find them and try to squeeze out a few extra points. So I had a Biology teacher in grade 9...the first couple of times I approached her after she returned tests...she seemed okay with it...then one fine day I went to her again...and even before I could say anything...she looked at me...and said...no...don't ask me anything...I am not going to give away even an extra quarter of a point!! I remember I was super mad that day! Since then I did not like her much! But nonetheless...she is my friend on facebook!

In fact I did not learn anything from the incident...and made one of the teaching assistants in grad school cry because of the same reason. I knew that she had written the question on the test...and the particular topic was not covered in class...so I went and told her that...and she told me that I probably missed out...implying that I did not pay attention in class...so I told her that I record all the lectures...and then for some reason her eyes were wet...and my friend and I just let her be.

Happy Teachers' Day !!!
As a kid I was a very seedhi sadhi type bachhi , very studious 😆 so obviously was teachers' fav one.
It was not the case in college though 😆 .
For me My HOD is the sweetest lady on this earth.
It was our final year exams n the paper was horrible. Dont know what we wrote . After the exam was over my batchmates went to meet her . Being a cardiologist she was extremely busy still she gave us time. We told her about the paper n she reassured her saying "Kuch likha hai na?? Paper blank to ni choda . Main sab dekh dungi."
In that paper we werent expecting even passing marks but we all got above avg marks .
The same year there was a kand b/w students n a local politician . There was strike , police case n lot of shit. People threatened her to back off but she didnt budge . She stood by our side saying "Ye mere bache na ye kuch galat kar sakte hain na main inke sath kuch galat hone dungi" Finally we won the case 🥳 .
Thank u mam , thank u for everything !!!

Hugs for a beautiful post meri jaan 🤗
