Here's a latest update on this much talked about film. Read on...

A lot has been reported about Aanand L Rai's dwarf' film with Shah Rukh Khan. While initially there was this whole hullabaloo on whether SRK will take up this film or no. Soon we got a confirmation and even got to hear an official announcement on the release date of the film which has been locked for December 2018. Yea! 2 years from now and we dunno why it has been pushed so far. But anyway, the preparations have already begun where recent buzz also suggests the working title of the film that is - Bandhua which in English means a bond. Interesting right?

Now we dunno how confirmed is the status of this working title. But if at all this turns out to be the final one for SRK's film with Aanad, we wouldn't mind for it's so damn intriguing that you would want to know more about the film. Don't you feel the same? Not to forget, even while announcing the release date of this film, SRK had dropped a hint on the title stating, "This one is most special for all of us. And the title is way too sweet. Wait for it!" We wonder if he was talking about Bandhua...

While everyone has been referring to this Aanand L Rai film as a dwarf' film. Bollywoodlife exclusively spoke to the director and he clarified the theory saying "I have been hearing this and I have been talking about this. Yes, it's a dwarf film. But dwarf is not the character. I am making a film where the size of the character is short. It's a very new character. It's a story about a man and woman again like Ranjhanaa or Tanu Weds Manu. It has different characters. In this case, my character is smaller in size. Let's not design it like a story of a dwarf. It's a story of a man who's size is small." He had even revealed that the film will go on the floors this December but now with the release date being pushed to December 2018, we doubt if they'll start shooting anytime soon.

Shah Rukh will be next seen in Raees that's releasing in January 2017 following which, his Imtiaz Ali film opposite Anushka Sharma will hit the screens. Tell us how excited are you for this SRK packed year and we'll be back with more updates on this hot story.

TFS!
Doesnt Bandhua mean Bonded laborer?

Maybe they mean it as bandhu as in friend...but it can also mean that the short man in the movie is a bonded laborer?

Anand L Rai loves to make movies where the male protagonist is not the typical dashing hero.

Watched Anand Rai's interview on a TV segment where he said he is still working on the script for this film thats why announced date is so far away.
