Hey, I'll give you a small suggestion... try and watch few SONY shows, they come up again and again with new stories which are simple yet fascinating...

SONY is the only channel which doesn't really work for trp's and has never given out any show which has extended for years as it gained them their much needed trp's...

Even present they have all good shows from 8:30 to 10:30... and many more to come in the lineup

I might be sounding like an add for SONY but its just that I'm trying to answer your quest for simple love stories but the shows still have conflicts of its own... SONY has the longest list of good love stories

Few Indian shows which were really different in the recent year are Dahleez, Manmarzian, Tamanna, Everest, Airlines, Gulmohar Grand, Roshni and almost every show of [V]... For Star Networks, STAR PLUS has been their channel for trp gainer forever so they'll go will only the cliched ones and all new kind of love stories were always on either [V] or Life Ok... the other shows which I mentioned were either finite to start with or got axed

im gonna say something you may not like BUT

i like the angry sharp hot business man and strong independent woman serials which is the current state of ishqbaaaz

i love the way this show is going

the day shivay turns into a love struck puppy is when i will stop watching

and the day this serial turns into a saas bahu saga i will stop watching

but for now this is the only serial i watch cos i love the mr darcy concept

i may sound cliche or hopeless but this is what i like to watch

me too i love the mr darcy effect! i dont think shivaay will ever act as just love sick puppy as their's will be a tashan waala pyaar 😉

Its indeed good to see such posts in this forum. Do opposites really attract?? I'd say not really, unless there is something common. Super rich angry young man falling for lower middle class sounds more of a fairy tale. They might fall for each other if they are classmates or stay in common group but Shivaay - Anika rarely exist in reality. In real life opposites attract is more to do with ambitions & ideologies than cliche love - hate track

Sorry to butt in, Manmarzian is no way different from regular crap except for good promos. Its more or less like K soaps / gul served in subtle manner...super hot guy falling for small town behenji type girl who is set out to solve entire worlds problems & her over night transformation into sexy super woman🤢🤢

Hi Nikhita,

See I don't exactly like Riddhima as she is presented now, what I would have liked is a character similar in traits to her that aligned more with Om, not someone so opposite him. That pairing would have been interesting, a more mellow touch to romance.
