Episode 199 - 4/9/16

Before I say anything, I am NOT PREPARED at all for what's to come.

Neither am I. But we will get through it together!

With that out of the way, on to the episode...

So, it felt super odd watching the last 5 minutes of the show, mainly because we were introduced to completely, new characters who are practically total strangers to us. I literally felt like I was watching something else, as I'm sure many of you have felt. We're so used to seeing Kalaish, Uma, Sujata, Ankit, Dadi, Guddi, Atharva, Vividha, & even Abdul Chacha, that I felt so very overwhelmed watching these new people appear on our screens. It's too weird!

I felt exactly the same! It was like I was watching another show! thank goodness they showed familiar faces in the pre-cap.

Anyway, first of all, I'd like to take the pleasure of praising Shilpa & Vikram's performances today! None of it came across forced, each and every emotion presented was brought forth naturally, & I truly felt for them at that moment! They owned today's episode.

I'm running out of praise for them both. They were absolutely awesome. They feel like a real life mother and son. Their bond is so powerful.

Although Sujata has been annoying me slightly whenever RK was involved, but I felt so sorry for that woman today! Imagine all she's had to go through as well as Atharva, but the anguish & the suffering never stops for them! She's not only had to bring up her child on her own, but she's had to live apart from the person she loves so much, as well as her poor background, being constantly taunted by a meddlesome society, & now her husband/lovers death. And he only just got back, after 27 years of being apart! Only to find out that he's dead.

I just feel so, so bad for Sujata. She has had such a difficult life but she has lived it without complaint despite being taunted by the samaaj. And even as a window she has to bear those taunts.

And now for Atharva, why does his life have to be so shitty? He doesn't deserve it at all, yet there's more crap to come his way & I don't think I'll be able to bear it. He suddenly comes to the realisation that he'll never get another moment with his father, that the moments they have had, are it. And it's all so shattering for him, & for us too, because that closure will always remain unfixed, how sad is that. He'll never get that time with the father he has only just met ever again.

I just can't believe they didn't give him any closure with his dad. With Vividha by his side, he would have taken steps to forgive his father. And now that chance has been taken away from him. I think that's why I already feel so irritated and angry at the new family, even though I know it's not their fault. While Ramakant was alive, his children had the luxury of being with him and were given his name and in his death, they get to grieve openly for him which Atharv and Sujata don't get.

So, that grandfather as well as the sister are already giving me negative vibes. We of course already know the sister is going to be another vamp, she's already coming across as one without saying anything. I have a feeling this one is going to be lethal. The grandfather is insanely strict, like others have said, he may be a big part of why Sujata & RK separated (would like to know more about their separation soon though!). So, now it's time to digest the 2nd family which is already proving to be difficult.

I feel the Grandfather is a strict individual rather than an evil one, but the sister definitely looks fishy! And I agree that the Grandfather had something to do with Ramaknt leaving Sujata.

The precap 👏 Vividha & that slap, GO GIRL! I'm so proud of her. You would never catch a heroine slapping an older person, especially a 'samaaj' person I guess, & SHE did it, because she's Vividha, unlike anybody else. She's become so strong, & Atharva's love has allowed her to find that strength, now it's time for Vividha to be his strength.

I am sooo looking forward to that slap tomorrow!

The next few weeks are going to be HARD.
