Meera was looking so so pretty yesterday...exactly like a princess from Disney ❤️
their car convo was gud...she caught him blushing n he was flustered 😆

Meera's way of explaining things is unique, she do not follow philosophical way ...her way is different "Meera's way"

kaddu se party ko compare kiya 🤣 aadat hogayi hai

and she stumped aman's Friend with Lajpat Nagar Crisis 😆 she handled that idiot in a better way and Rhea couldn't open her mouth to give her opinion and I love sanjay's smile while Meera was speaking, he is a nice guy ⭐️ and he understands Meera way better than Rhea :P

Aman ko nhi pata tha k Meera double Graduate fail genius hai 😲

meera clearly told she dont want to be IAS but that aman ...does he ever listen what other person is saying 😡 sirf dedh saal ki baat hai, acche se padhayi karo hoojayega like halwa hai hojayega 😆

Meera is clear about one thing that she cant fake herself neither she can study to become IAS and i hope Aman gets this clear in his mind

Abhi 😭 I understand as a mother dadi is trying to mend relations that is fine but she should not nag or force them to accept that Thug...it is not easy to accept him back, there is angst, hurt, denial dilemma and dadi should given them time and space instead of thoping him on them 😆

Abhi was ready to go home but as soon he heard his so called father is also waiting he decided to stay back...he is trying hard to avaoid interactions with that fellow and Ramraj is helping so abhi ramraj liking mode is on 😆

Finally Bade Bhaiyya ka birthday aaya 🥳

Lovely review

The episode was a bliss, like many said a fresh wave of air.
Meera was definitely looking like a Princess straight out from a fairy tale.It was actually a surprise that cvs didn't spent hours of abhishek gazing at Meera in that princess attire rather he was shown smiling at meera's cute antics for which he has actually fallen in love with her.

Till now they have kept abhishek's love simple.something which is not filled with too much passion or angst bt something where when he is with meera,he is happy, he is smiling like in the car scene.

The sandal scene was too cute😳
the way abhishek was scolding meera and meera like a cute baccha got shutup was too cute😆.

The car scene was also filled with cuteness..Meera's running commentary on abhishek's changing colors was too cute. The way abhishek said,"kya pata lagta hai?" was like a child, don't know if it was PJ's improvisation or not.
Waise it's true that meera has filled colors in abhishek's colourless life.

The party was a classy party.I loved the way meera shut up that guy by saying about lajpat nagar crisis.only she has the ability to do that.Rhea with all her qualifications can't shut up that MCP,which meera did with her street smartness😆

The last scene was shot beautifully.Infact the entire scene where meera comes to party and where she is going was definitely shot very beautifully.Hats off to cinematographer.

Finally hats off to PJ and ND.PJ is day by day proving that he is a great actor, his small nuances are too good and ND with all her bubbly and freshness is livening up our tv screens

Hi, I'm new here - been reading alot of the reviews for BBKD - I think the makers so far have done a great job in keeping a freshness to the scenes, sort of an easy, breezy quality to them which is extremely likeable.

As for this particular episode, I particularly liked Abhishek's reaction to Dadi's talk with him. I liked how he made it clear that he can't just forgive so easily, and that he has a right to think of his own happiness too. It just made his character seem that much more real. I think the writers should be commended for adding such wonderful layers to the characters of both Abhishek and Meera.

So far, I am hooked and loving the chemistry between the leads - I don't know if it's just me, but Namita Dubey reminds me of a young Manisha Koirala in several scenes (looks wise, mainly) She has the right amount of spunk, but brings a certain softness to Meera as well. Priyanshu as Abhishek is totally spot on - kudos to this young actor:)

Looking forward to Abhishek's birthday scenes, and how the Abhishek-Meera friendship develops from here.

@peeyara: lol yeah Meera's analogies are hilarious...only she could compare parties to kaddus...lol but maybe that was meant be a Cinderella analogy too...cuz in the story, it's a pumpkin that transforms into her carriage for the ball. Lol
Daadi is definitely being unreasonable...I liked how Abhi pushed back and told her she can't expect him to forget things overnight.

@Divan: Thanks! Lovely review from you too! Completely agree about the cinematography...the party scenes especially were shot beautifully...very classy setup...rarely see this on Indian TV where mos parties are so loud and garish.

@dilse99: Hi, welcome to the forum! Abhi's reaction to Daadi was indeed a very human one...glad they aren't making him a typical mahaan character.

Re: Namita...lol I guess there is a slight resemblance to Manisha...but Namita seems to have a more understated contemporary style of acting so far...not sure how she will be in terms of histrionics or dramatic scenes...I think she is still developing as an actress...and she has a very goofy looking grin...but you make a good point about the softness she brings to Meera.

What a beautiful episode this was! So much to say...please bear with the essay...lol!

Abhi's demeanor towards meera has definitely changed post his realization, i guess if one cannot appreciate the realization then it's difficult to appreciate the fine nuances that PJ is now bringing into their scenes- be it the way he stole looks at her in the rearview mirror on their way to the party or then the way he becomes all jittery around her while fixing her heel...FULL MARKS to the creatives for NOT showing a full-length view of meera and abhi oggling at her in wake of his new found feelings, instead the way he smiles shyly at her usual antiques-just so endearing. The way he fumbles around her while putting on her shoes, slightly reprimanding her for being careless as she is falling, while at the same time, constantly worried about her well being- head bang, lol..i almost felt bad for him- he is crushing so badly..haha! Meera, toh meera hai- cannot sit quietly while someone else is doing work for her- quite khudgarz she seems to me now...coz just like in the forest, here too, she refused to just sit there and let Abhi take care of her, the way she was trying to assist in the shoe mending was aww-dorable! And then ofcourse teasing Abhi non-stop in the car ride, yet...marvelling at the feeling of love that Abhi might be feeling, suggestive of the fact that she hasn't been in love yet (and doesn't even realise it yet..wonder what it is that will make her realise-hard to say at this point).. Their equation and chemistry is soo cute at this point- Abhi cannot help but like her more n more with passing moment, so realistic this is...while she is blissully unaware and he too is least bothered about letting her know, just revelling in the newness of his feelings for her.

At the party- riya, aman and his obnoxious friends represent the hypocrisy of the society. Riya's servile nature towards sanjay and the way she suggests meera the same is highly disturbing for a woman of her academic stature...sanjay on the other hand is the one ray of hope that the society needs- so kind, humble and the best brother-in-law that any girl can ask for- more sanjay-meera bonding please! And Can he also be the first one to know about meera-abhi when it happens amongst meera's family? She needs his objective support at that time as well. Aman and his friends were complete d-bags, no surprised there... Meera definitely shut them all up with Abhi's wise teaching and the way he made her understand current affairs in a way that she actually cared about them instead of just saying something ratta maar ke.. My heart went out to her, her suffocation looked quite palpable...Again, sanjay to her rescue!

And the last part- i almost cheered inwardly when she removed her heels and runs out of the party hall- so symbolic it was, breaking free of the shackles and pretense that was this party, where she did manage to shine, but that isn't who she really is- unlike cinderella, her prince charming was waiting for her outside the party.. Only, she hasn't realised it yet.

@Mads: Loved the essay! Word about the fine nuances PJ brings to this role...will blab more on that hopefully once I'm back.

One bit I forgot to mention I loved in this epi...Sanjay's snort/chuckle when Meera retorted to that friend of Aman's that she was waiting to see when he'd finally stop talking and give them a chance to talk. Lol it's these little moments in which Sanjay keeps winning me over as a character. Lol
