Two industry legends, Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan, will be sharing screen screen-space in Yash Raj Films' upcoming action film Thug'. While there have been plenty of rumours surrounding the Vijay Krishna Acharya directed film, Bachchan has confirmed for the very first time that he will indeed be seen with Aamir in the film.
"I don't know if I can talk about the film at this moment. I haven't been given permission. All I can say is that it is a very exciting subject"
"It's a great honour and privilege to be working with Aamir, to be working with Yash Raj again and also to work with Victor (Vijay Krishna Acharya), I just look forward to that moment" Bachchan said.
Thug' was first offered to Hrithik Roshan who decided not to do the film as the script did not convince him. The script is said to have been re-written after which it was offered to Aamir, who green-lighted the project quicker than he usually does.
In the last few years, Aamir has been smart with his film choices. He does films like Talaash, PK, Dangal and mixes it up with commercially safer films like Dhoom 3 and Thug.
Industry insiders say, YRF is targeting Thug' for the Christmas 2017 weekend.
