What is it with kartik getting so much respect? I mean, you have hotel managers and even police officers calling him sir. Since when do police officers call young men like karthik sir? I really don't understand what the deal is with karthik knowing almost everyone.

For sure kartik belongs from a very rich and influential family.

You're right. It must be. It's just getting on my nerves that it's been more than 100 episodes since karthik has been introduced in the show and they still haven't shown us anything about his family. In fact i find it shocking that the singhania's and mehra's treat karthik like family yet have never asked him about his family. I don't understand though why karthik would stay away from his family. It has to be more than just him wanting to become independent instead of relying on rich family/parents.

I dont think so because usne jab gayu ko hewellery ka opinion diya tha woh lag raha tha uska family bussiness diamonds or jewellery ka hai ya phir shayad hotel ka kyu ke jab naira hotel mein form bharne gayi thi woh bohot nervous ho gaya tha.

Yeah! Even I think that Karthik is from a very influential family.. I mean he is so young, he has just finished his studies outside and returned - as the manager of hotel Shivor said- Sir aap toh bahar the na, kab aaye? - and as he stated many times that he lived in hostel - and may be outside means abroad, and even at this young age he has so many contacts and is respected by so many people..managers of resorts, police, etc. So he is definitely the young lad of a very rich family. And as he knows so well about jewellery as he stated in a conversation with Gayu that it's his Khandani business and as he hid from the client of Singhanias - Mr. kapoor, calling him uncle, in Rose and Yash's engagement (maybe that Mr. Kapoor is some close friend of Karthik's Family), it is proved that his family is in jewellery business also. I won't be shocked if I come to know that Karthik is from a royal family, who have all kinds of business, like they are hoteliers, jewellers, etc. What I am eager to know is why he left his family and came to work for Singhanias? I mean he is smart enough to handle the business and he is a ideal guy who would be an ideal son too and thus would not have gone against his legacy. He is close to his mom, but even then stays away from her. Maybe, she is no more but I have this feeling inside that his mom is alive so there must be some big reason he is not with them. Hoping to find out soon. And I hope that Karthik is the only heir of a royal family kind of a person so that Naksh's mouth is shut and he doesn't raise any question on Karthik's background when Kaira's courtship begins. I hope he is a Marwari too like Maheshwaris' and Singhanias' so that no opposition on basis of religion and caste. (Well the name Mr. Kapoor scared me once as it's a Punjabi name but then I thought he called him uncle and no where in the show is Karthik's full name ever mentioned so that person might be a family friend or may be the manager kind of person of that branch of Karthik's family business). Well I know that no opposition will be there as Singhanias are modern but who knows, that shit might just happen. And also, I want to see a typical big fat Marwari wedding for Kaira in future so... well I have spoken a lot. But I hope Karthik's background is revealed soon... someone please convey these messages to the CVs of the show.. We want Karthik's story to be shown, and that we expect him to be a real prince.. please please please!!!!
