I don't understand how she keeps stating she still has a lot of love for Dev. She would not trap him with her promises if she truly cared enough to let him be who he wants to be. Since his childhood, she has implicitly tried to turn him into what she thinks is best for the family!

I'm still catching up on the show and so far in loving it, I've reached August episode and whilst watching the show I can come to the conclusion that I really don't like Dev's mum
She is too stubborn when it comes to Dev
She is way too over protective of Dev
She gets jealous of sonakshi
She acts like no one can love Dev besides her
She's a way too over emotional mother
And ppl are saying she is a phycho
Hopefully once I catch up I can understand the real reason
