An otherwise calm, sane, level headed, well grounded Sona driven to extremes by Dev to take an impulsive decision to run as far as possible as quickly as she can.

Sona was able to understand Dev's decision to breakup, his loneliness, his anxiety but what she cannot understand is his complete denial abt breakup, his expectations that Sona shud still love him, his actions to hurt Ritwik's career. Sona was not expecting Dev to stoop so low and hurt Riwik the way he destroyed Sona's career. She is shocked to see Dev using his money and power to stop her from moving on and doing nothing at all to address the core issue - his mother's dislike for their relationship.

Dev is still not able to reflect on his actions, his immediate concern is to stop Sona's marriage. But the more he tries, the more he is pushing her away. He needs time to correct his actions but with Sona's impending marriage, he is already pretty late to amend his actions.

These two have travelled so far that it will take a long time or a very big jhatka to get back to whr they belong...with each other. But then even if Ish realises her mistakes n repents for it, Sona's family wud be difficult to please this time.

I fully agree - they best was expected of Sona which she failed. In such a situation it wud be better for sona to give a big shock to dev by asking him whether he loves her in his mothers presence. Solution to such probs is to confront mother son jointly which girls generally avoid just to remain good in the eyes of their love. Mamas boys need strong shock treatment to come out of their mothers lap rather pallu😊

Everything Dev is doing right now is just causing Sona to move away from him more and move on in her life. But like Shaheer had pointed out in an interview, he had said that Dev is not thinking straight now. He made a decision due to circumstances but he himself hasn't accepted it yet. Thus it is leading him to do all crazy things when he sees Sona trying to move on in life.
I think the calm talk will come when Sona goes to visit a drunk Dev in his office. I think that is when she will try to talk some sense into him and when he agrees to not interfere in her life again.

agreed! I think Sonakshi's mature outlook has made people come to expect that she will behave at her very best at all times. But she has just been handed a huge blow to her heart .. i think we can afford her some less than perfect reactions...

But I agree she will soften when she sees his miserable side, Not the oppressive angry green eyed man

Just the previous night, Sona tells her parents that she doesn't want to rush the engagement, but with Dev's controlling behavior, she is forced assert herself. She is royally pissed off at him because he is not only making choices for her but also destroying Rithik's career. He always wants things to happen on his own terms, but this time Sona is determined to have it her way. She is so disgusted with him that she decided to actually move on in life with Rithik. When a girl like Sona decides to marry someone, she will give it her everything to make it work.

my thoughts exactly. She's asking Dev to step up and claim her if he really cant bear to see her move on from him.
