Yes!

That would be perfect. Ishaana is shrewd. If only she uses all that industriousness for the right purposes, she could work wonders.

I hope to see Om and Ishaana guiding each other in the right direction.

Very well said! I think Ishaana just put in front of Om what he's been conveniently looking past..I mean is he really that naive that he doesn't know how all big businessmen have underhanded transactions or does he turn a blind eye to all thay just because its his family?

Even before we have seen that Om is all bark and no bite. He may say he doesn't tolerate lies but even when Shivaay told him right before his confrontation with Ishaana that in business you have to be a little shrewd and twisted, though Om didn't agree with him he decided to do things Shivaay's way initially. So I think Om's soft spot is his family hence his provocation when Ishaana used that against him. Whether he likes it or not his raging daddy issues is something he has to put up with.

As far as Tej is concerned, yes the fear of abandonment looms large over Om. Ironically he might think Tej would leave him and Jhanvi for Svetlana but in the end,as usual in an emotional outburst Om might forgo his family first for the truth. But I hope even then he would make an exception for his family and look past it.

Ishaana just showed Om that people around him lie and cheat all the time.

Everyone does it i guess. A person like Om doesn't even exist in this world. No one can be that truthful and survive this ruthless world. It's impossible.

I disagree with you. People like Omkara do exist, they are simply very rare.

I know this because my sister is like Omkara, which is probably why I understand him. I deal with someone like him on a daily basis, and though our personalities clash severely, I must admit that my sister has the higher moral ground.

These are people who are kind and loving, but cannot accept criticism. They are so idealistic and naive that the world finds it very easy to take advantage of them. You are right. It is incredibly difficult for such an individual to last in a world, as ruthless and selfish as ours.

And that is where my worry lies, for both my baby sister and Om.

I agree with you. We often tend to overlook the flaws of our loved ones, because we are so emotionally invested in them.

And yes, if that happens, the irony would be staggering.

Hi,

Finally I found someone who looked at yesterday's epi from the same eye I had, and obviously this is a post I have to reply. You see Ishana by pointing to Oberois did not try to justify what she did with Om. Instead she was trying to counter the argument that family background determines what a person becomes. If amidst people who take aid of lies at every step of their lives (As she pointed out) someone like Om could exist, truly you can't say Ishana's family has anything to do with what she is. To this point I agree and has to admit that her arguments were bang on...no one can say anything to counter them. I think this was the real reason that made Om take shelter in darkness and isolation of his room later that night because inwardly he also agreed that she had spoken the truth.

For me this was a well constructed and scripted scene. I actually enjoyed the way they argued unlike many on screen couples who jump at each other's throat at silly things.

As for your predictions for the future track, quite possible I must say. But I am more a person who likes to delve deep in to what they show, not what is yet to come...so no comments on that part.

Anyway, such a logical post , thank you for writing it.

I really hope Om is the one to go to Vanvaas because it would be really unexpected.I mean most of us are expecting it to be Shivaay but if Om is the one it would be unexpected.
