EDKV had such potential when it started off. It moved past cliches and showed that things can happen this way too.
Things are so murky now that there is no coming back. Downfall of good shows is always sad but it happens to the best of them.

Nirmala has been a part of the show for so long but still she has never gotten even one opportunity to make a stand for herself in front of her son? Suman has known the Nimrala truth forever and she's done nothing about it. Ramnath continues to plot and wins every time. All other characters are clueless and go about doing their own thing. Nanu is ill but he knows Sumo like no one else and even he can't see her sadness? Aditya has blinders on and can't see anything else other than what he wants to see. Is he wrong? Yes. But so are Shravan and Sumo.

Suman's strength is a thing of the past. She spends all her time crying and looking lost. She has done nothing to sort out the mess but has contributed to adding to it.

Shravan also sees what he wants to see. He gets manipulated by everyone and I don't know how his blood pressure has remained in control because he spends most of his time with red eyes and hot smoke coming out of his nostrils and ears.

Shravan keeps insulting Sumo and she keeps crying. There is no redemption for the show. The characters have lost their goodness and stupidity reins supreme.

Indian tv doesn't need censorship. Then you would have far more bigger issues then this. What Indian tv honestly needs is a revamp. Infact because if the "censorship" in a twisted way till date on tv we see women characters fl being sacrificed in order to show and benefit the male character. Tomorrow sharavn's character would be uplifted and how he still loves sumo so much despite it all by saving her from aditiya forgetting how he belittled her and what they shared infront of aditiya because well "the knight in shining armor" works. How shravan is better than aditiya how nirmala is a failed mother. Whereas in all honesty sumo should leave these two guys behind! I truly understand shtmravan's but sorry to say the writer has given soo much to his side of the story that sumo's character has been sacrificed shravan for his own ego and mommy issues threw sumo under the bus and for a very long time it has been happening. And what makes it bad is again sumo would be sacrificed to glorify shravan. In this show the writer has lost balance in writing the characters it's all over the place. Suman is a shadow of what she used to be and what else to expect the flag bearer for "independent self respect" woman for this show is nirmala! Sorry to say she has shown neither of the qualities. So far she just seems like a confused lost escapist who has no idea about anything and just randomly blabbers stuff. So ramnath threatened (that was barely a threat) and she gave up on her son didn't bother following up or trying to look for him how he is nothing she did.

I agree. All this is forced drama. Issues which can be resolved instantly have been unnecessarily dragged. It is always about Shravan's issues. He has a problem with women because of his mother. He's egotistical and a chauvinist. Suman has also lost her parents. She's been in financial as well as personal problems but she's much more sorted than Shravan.

Misunderstandings happen but drama for the sake of drama is not appealing at all. Wedding after wedding is exhausting and tiring to watch. Shravan and Sumo's fights and arguments are head ache inducing. They have not had a normal conversation in ages.

Hey there
Well I wouldn't say its fall yet. Like you I do believe the show has imense potential that is not being used. The dragging ane slow storylines doesn't make it easier to watch. But I still think the show has a while before it goes bad. If suman had marry adita then i'd say the show was a goner. Suman may seem like a weak character now and deviated from her strong persona but I think its kinda need cause she needs to be vulnerable at times. Also shravan is in such a angry mood these days that its seems impossible for the two to talk and clear misunderstandings. But i really would like to see them married and as a couple. So i'm still holding out

I don't think shravan character is to be blamed only..if such be the case then suman is equally at fault. She obviously knows how she feels about him yet still she says nothing. I think both characters have said and behaved rudely to each other in the past but I guess it works for them😆 I think nirmalas character is such a character that shows that some women in their chase to become independent forget duties of a mother. Shravan and suman relationship is such that they both love each other but have to put aside their egos and pride to make it work

Agreed the show has much better potential...But the show aint bad at all not do I see it go down the drain(yet).
I suggest wait and see. If everything was resolved in a timely fashion, then there is not much left.

Now we will get to see Shravan redeeming himself and slowly earn back the respect in Suman's eyes.

I agree forced drama is tiring ti watch especially when the solution is so simple. And I do agree that the fighting between them has become a bit ridiculous but its indian serials . Always expect way too much drama..mummy issues ..property issues and lots of almost weddings with the leads threating to marry another😆 its indian tv at its usual recipe
