Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the real tease in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil teaser

Yes, we know you have been watching the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil teaser on loop ever since it hit the online circuit.
With just a split-second glimpse, Fawad Khan, his beard and his smile have made us die a million deaths.

Anushka Sharma looks pretty. Nothing extraordinarily different, though, from her look-n-feel in her last release Sultan. Or Dil Dhadakne Do. Or Jab tak Hai Jaan. Or... You got the drift, right? Chirpy, spirited, playful and somewhat rebellious. Meh... she's done it so many times already.

Ranbir Kapoor, last seen in the intense drama Tamasha, is at it again. Our brooding hero has always been the king of expressions, after all. And fresh out of a broken relationship in real life, he's giving us the feels to the T.

What steals the show, however, is the return of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the ultimate woman of fantasy. Fresh as dew. Gorgeous as hell. Heart-attack-inducing. We don't blame you. Ash certainly has managed to usher in that proverbial 'breath of fresh air' in this saga of one-sided love.

The diametrically different look that she's sporting in this film, compared to her last release, Sarbjit, is making her presence even more distinguished. Her role of that of an Urdu poetess befitts the elegance that she normally exudes. And if her performance in Umrao Jaan is anything to go by, we can vouch she wouldn't disappoint in this one either.

What we can't stop tripping over is the scorching chemistry that she shares with our Kapoor lad. He's nine years younger to her, yet the two look like the irresistible couple on screen when they make love.

Did somebody say heroines have a shorter shelf life in Bollywood? Not when it's Ash Rai B. And lest you forget, she's back to romancing onscreen six long years after Raavan (2010). In Jazbaa, she didn't romance anybody. And in Sarbjit, obviously there was no scope. Yet, the passion and the fire that she exhibits is commendable. Especially in an industry where streotypes decide fates. Heroines get replaced because they are married. Or because they are mums. Or mums-to-be. Who doesn't remember the famous Aishwarya-Madhur Bhandarkar Heroine episode?
Thanks Ash for giving it back. And slaying the Bollywood game like a boss.
