I agree she isn't a bad mother...but neither a good one either...just grey...😆 I didn't mean that I alone don't approve and you all do...sorry if it came out that way. But I just meant that sadly I have a mother-in-law like Ishwari and oh lord do I know the difficulties of this situation.

I understand due to difficult life Ishwari had she is somehow still stuck at Dev at age 8...and since he's grown she has put all responsibilities on him...(which I feel is completely wrong...after knowing that her son couldn't have a childhood she should at least encourage him to live a little..enjoy..but no..she is always telling him to work work work or take time off for me me me 😆) Till now I don't believe Dev's very much to blame at all...as every kid..specially son...put blind faith in their mothers and its fine till the mothers don't misuse that blind trust or actually start believing that they are the goddess who alone have/has all control and right on the son.

Well let's see how CVs go about making Ishwari realize that her son is all grown up...and redeem the character...(at least show mei dekh kar to I can be happy real mei to pata nahi kab ho) 😛

Chalo aapkeliye grey hi mante😆

I am really sorry for what you are going through, pray and hope the situation turns good for you too buddy. Trust me when I say so as I had seen tough times too during early married years but with time and little patience all will end well 🤗

KRPKAB has grown very close of my heart that i can't stop thinking about the intrinsic layers of each character showing on each passing episode.

Many infact 90% of the forum is hurt and angry with Ishwari's characterization hence thought of making this post with my thoughts.

I have seen Ishwari like Mom in real life especially when they become a single responsible mother. The fear of survival alone. the fear of future and darkness surrounding their life will change their behavior than our normal parents to the extend of being extra possessive and protective of their kids. The struggle they go through in this society teaches them to build a strong yet vulnerable wall around them. In their dark world, their elder son/daughter is always their tunnel of light!! They wrap their world around them without realizing to the extend that their own love will be suffocating their kids soon! Ishwari is that similar kind of mother here.

Ishwari is so pampered by her son who treats her as his Goddess. Mind you she didn't ask for it but given willingly in the platter by Dev. Dev never showed/asked his desires/needs to his Mom or others leave alone not sleeping without sleeping pills. He made sure that his Mom thought he is happy and Ishwari is so used to this lie life of Dev that she started believing Dev is indeed happy around her and his family alone. (I would blame Dev a lot here for making Ishwari the way she is now)

In today's episode Ishwari's 28 years of strong belief, pride and motherhood started cracking with 3 months of Sona's love. The suffocation and realization has started that her Son is indeed not happy as she believed him to be. She really doesn't know about her Son as she believed him to be. She is not the center of her Son's life as she believed all these years to be!! She always saw and believed what she wanted to see and believe but from today her blindfold will fall!!

I agree Ishwari's taunts to Sona were below the belt and I still believe it was done intentionally by the makers so that her realization would be more painful and the impact would be great. Moreover we can't expect kind words from an uneducated single mother seeing some nutritionist snatching her place😆

Today we are crying buckets for Dev, the same dev who taunted Dr.Bose like anything, broke her things, cancelled her date just to keep her in his house as nurse, updated her profile in matchmaking without her consent, etc, etc now Ishwari doing the same😆 Do we see a pattern?!Think think!!😆 Who knows CVs might pull such a string that we all might cry for Ishwari too late and she will become ladoo for Sona later like Dev now😳 ... Like Beta like Maa😆

Ishwari is never a bad person, like every Mom she wants good of her kids. She just didn't realize whats that "Good" is for Dev😳 She might need a lot of courage to accept the fact and rise from the deep hole she dug herself after realizing the impact of Sona in Dev's life. My sixth sense still saying it will be Ishwari who will bring Sona back to Dev's life again after the realisation ...after all Dev's happiness is her happiness too!! (CVs am waiting😉)

Am ready with pillow walls in front of me for the rotten tomatoes and chappals Ready shoot😆

P.S :

I genuinely didn't expect so many of you to share your views/takes in such a healthy manner👏 Thank you everyone for your inputs 🤗 This post is definitely not a Pro-Ishwari or Anti-Ishwari one but an effort to open up all bottled up emotions towards this character and discuss/reason more in a friendly environment.

Liked the way you put your point across.

However very few people are truly bad and once we start coming up with justifications everyone has a reason behind the things they do, even GKB.

One might even say that's is not Hitler's faut but his followers who supported his cause.

At the end every one is responsible for his or her own actions.

Everyone can be good because of. Very few are inspite of.
