Yes show is working on that very nicely. ..
Even before Dev has indirectly warned sona that he will not change for her. But w all had a hope as he changed this much he will change further more..
And yes Dev is a man with fault.. but never his feelings wer at fault at least according to his situation...
He always thought about his first most women in his life rest then comes the world. But now eve before the world comes sona for him...
As soon as he came to know about his mother dislike towards sona he was broken totally ... But he was broken more when he came to know that his mom could hav attack if she did that foolish act in another way...
That's why his feeling at that time was only in one way his mom... No where his world was seen...
He was afraid of loosing his god his mother that's it he just gave an ultimatum saying let's breakup sona... Without thinking... His feeling was right for him... Every situation has its own advantage and disadvantage...
Similarly Dev breaking his relation may make him realise that as much as his mom os imp to him so is sona .. may b more than his mom in certain matters... It is very badly needed for him as he has to understand how to handle situations how to take decisions wisely as every action has its own consequences...
.but really feeling very bad for sona..as no fault is their in this of sona... But kya kare itne complicated person se pyaar kiya tho sehnaa padegaa naaa...
I guess because of this typical complicated Dev ... We got a strong character called sona...
Because two weak characters willnot workout one should be strong ...

May be in this process we may get too see a good friendship bond of devakshi which we dnt get too see much in initial...
