I was waiting for the episode to air on TV so that I can post about this particular beautiful scene of ShiVika today. How beautiful was that view to see them walk side by side with equal elan
The way it was picturized and focused on, indicates the future of ShiVika. They will be equals, who will be rock solid support for each other, if at any point one fumbles the other will hold him/her up. If you noticed, when they stuck together Shivaay gestures Anika walk first, it may be a simple gentlemanship but it could also be a hint of their future where Shivaay will let Anika be as independent as she is now and peruse her dreams.
The walk also symbolized that together they will hold the Oberoi family tight. Right now it's Shivaay who is the pillar that holds the Oberoi family together, Anika will be the pillar of this pillar.

I totes agree. I thought it was gentlemanly of him to let her walk first but now after reading your post I get the symbolism. I guess the bgm of Annika that was played during the scene sorta hinted at it too cuz it always plays when she looks like a fierce character.

Loved their coordinated walk... Shivaay's gesture can also be predicted as who is going to have an upper hold on the other i.e. the way Annika said 'Full stophota haimera.."..!! And he has given her that right...!!

Oh yeah that full stop toh mera hi hota hai also indicates it will be only Anika to whom Shivaay will listen willfully.
