ALL'S NOT OK FOR ARIJIT...BUT KAPIL MAKES HIM SMILE

Mirror (August 11) had reported that Arijit Singh is all set to take over as judge of the new season of the musical talent hunt show, Raw Star, originally judged by Honey Singh.
The show had a change of channels too, moving from Star Plus to Life OK. Now, Mirror has learnt that the popular singer who had already shot for the promo of the show, may no longer be a part of it.
Says a source close to development, "Having started out as a contestant on a reality show himself, Arijit was initially really excited about the show. So though he is something of an introvert he agreed to be more interactive with contestants but put his foot down when it came to changing his look. The channel agreed to his request but later there were other creative differences following which Arijit is no longer a part of the project." However, sources close to the channel insist that the show has just been pushed to a later date and not shelved.
"We are trying to work things out," added the source close to the development. Auditions for the show were scheduled to be held between August 16 and September 2. Meanwhile, the 29-year-old singer chose not to respond to our text messages and neither did the channel respond. But on Saturday, Arijit shot for The Kapil Sharma Show being aired on a rival channel.
Says a source from the sets of the show, "Kapil kept cracking jokes about how he has got Arijit on the show with great difficulty and that they should catch him so he doesn't flee from the set."
