In my another thread some members suggested the movie Lekin.

So I watched it and I loved it.

Vinod Khanna aur Dimple Kapadia ka main role hai.Dimple Kapadia ney ghost ka role kia hai.

It is not scary but I must say it is a masterpiece.

A ghost movie jo bilkul bhi darawani nahin hai.

he also dies with he rin the end... that was the only movie produced by LAta Mangeshkar's production house...unfortunately it tanked badly, so they didnt venture much into production later.

But i loved the movie, and the songs are so beautiful...Yara Sili Sili and Suniyo Jee are one of my favorites

Dimple and Hema are sisters, Hema is a danseuse who performs for the king n zamindaars...one such Zamindar traps her and her sister, as she refuses his proposal to become his mistress. Hema gets stuck but manages to get Dimple to escape, but Dimple looses her life in the vast Rajasthan Desert.

Lekin is a masterpiece alright! I simply love everything about that film.

The location, songs, picturization, story... takes your heart and soul to a different zone. It's just beautiful!

All songs are good.one or two are more classical.Ganey usi situation ke hisab se hi hain,

Most of Gulzar movies are good aur ye bhi.

Yes it is a masterpiece.

This movie deserved BO success.Many good movies didnt do well ye ek dukhad baat hai.

one of Gulzar's finest..songs and background music were brilliant and haunting.great performances by everyone..Vinod Khanna does not die in the end.he just helps dimple's spirit get to the other side of the desert and become free..one of amjad khan's last movies..he had put on so much weight and looked totally unhealthy..
