Harman frowned as he heard some sounds coming from ward beds and went into wards to check, but he can see no one awake and in pain, but he can see Soumyas form shivering and trashing on her bed, confused he went near her to see her mumbling words like "Papa ji.. I am sorry Papa ji.. I will never come infront of you, don't beat me.. I am sorry Papa ji... Bebey I am sorry..." Harman stood there confused for a while, and tried to wake her up... but seeing her getting even more restless, he laid a hand on her head, only for her to latch on to his arm "Maa... I am sorry maa.. " He wanted to hug her into an embrace of cocoon and protect her but sighed and sushed her "Shh.. nothing will happen to you.. relax..I am here na.. Papa will not beat you.."He kept on continuing soothing words and she finally relaxed into sleep. He sighed as he pulled blanket onto her sleeping form and tried to leave, but his hand is struck in between her head and hands, noticing that it might disturb her if he tried to take his hand away, he sat beside her in chair opening his phone reading new articles over emergency procedures.

"Mr. Goyal ! Can I have a word with you?"
Nipun looked at Harman who stopped him from leaving and asked worriedly "Yes doctor.. Is any thing wrong with Soumya?"
Harman looked at him harshly for a while " Nothing as such just need to clarify a few things with you?"
Nipun nodded and they both went to Harmans office where Harman made him sit and proceed to stare at him blankly ..Nipun cleared his throat 'You wanted to speak some thing with me Doctor?"
Harman sighed "What I want to know is, if you used to beat Soumya in her childhood"
Nipun looked at him confused "I will never beat my daughter Doctor."
Harman glared at him " If you don't beat her, why she is having nightmares where she is pleading you not to beat her and pleading that she will be good."
Nipun gasped shocked 'She is still having those nightmares."
Harman looked confused " Mr.Goyal, I want to know what happened as it might affect my patients health"
Nipun sighed " I never bet her. its true, but she did face some abuse from her father."
Harman felt even more confused "Means?"
"I am not the person who is her father by blood... I married her mother when she was eleven.. that was the happiest day in my life to be called as Dad by Soumya.. but she never calls me Papa, because Papa means a person who beats her. Just understand that Soumyas original father doesn't like her much."
Harmans respect for the man infront of him increased, he saw many people who treat their children as trash but here this man is treating his step child with love much more than a original child get. "I am sorry sir, but yesterday night she had a lot of nightmares mumbling Papaji I will be good , bebey i will be good. I thought it might be concerning you, i am even confused as how that will be possible after i saw how good your relation is yesterday, but I can't neglect my patients health."
Nipun smiled "Its okay Doctor. Soumya didn't have those nightmares for last five years we all thought she was over that phase, apparently we are wrong."
Harman nodded "May be her stress of trauma triggered it. Let her recover first, we will see what we can do. By the way call me Harman sir."
Nipun smiled "You can call me Nipun, Harman."
Harman shook his head "I can't in my better conscience, my father will skin me alive if he knows i am calling an elder by name"
Nipun shook his head "Then Uncle will suffice, formality makes me feel like I am in some soap opera"
Harman smirked as Nipun raised to leave... he turned back "You are a good man Harman" before Harman can even react he was gone

"Yippieee" Every one reacted oddly with Soumyas shoot who is jumping with joy, finally Maria came near her whom Somu pecked on cheek "Sister, I am leaving today..."
Sourabh looked at her oddly "You are happy because you no longer need to stay on bed?"
Soumya nodded happily "I hate staying silently on bed doing nothing.I am more of working type actually"
Surbhi glared at her "Don't you know how to behave like a doctor, acting worse than a street kid."
Soumya laughed cheekily "because I am not on duty and off duty I can act as I wish. " Immediately she sobered "Yaar , you people go do your work, if hitler comes and see us like this again he will scold you people"
"That I will for sure Miss. Goyal" Soumya made a cursed face while Others rushed to their place...She slowly turned back to see Harman standing there " Did you drink Vodka thinking it as cough syrup Miss.Goyal?"
Soumya glared at him " I am sorry Sir. But I am just ecstatic about leaving. Please sign my discharge form na , I will go on to my duty"
Harman looked at her confused and checked her bed ,he shouted loudly 'Who gave her sugar bag?"
Surabhi came forward "I did sir. She asked some sugar for her coffee and in urgency I just gave her sugar bag"
Harman glared at her till she cowered " Yes Miss. Surbhi tell me some thing about Metabolism inducers"
Surbhi didn't speak but Soumya spoke laughing "They will speeden up all your digestion and boom... the pinch of salt you will eat will be absorbed completely instead of half of it getting excreted. Lolzzz"
Harman sighed and he turned back to Surbhi "What she said was indeed true, so now why I am bringing the topic into consideration"
Surbhi gasped "I gave her sugar while she is on a metabolic inducer."
Harman crossed his hands "So what should I do now?"
Surbhi sighed "I am sorry sir. Its really a mistake. I will stay with her till she gets it out of her system."
Harman shook his head "No leave. Do your work I will deal with her."
Soumya laughed "Where's my discharge form."
Harman sighed " Miss Goyal. Sleep for a while I will discharge you after this leaves your system."
Soumya nodded her head in negative "No. I won't sleep."
Harman prayed to gods for patient and sat beside her "Now go to sleep Soumya. I will assign you night duty today okay."
Soumya jumped on bed excited "will you? but I am not getting sleep."
Harman checked his watch "Okay come with me" seeing Nurse saying some thing he signalled her to be quiet and left with Soumya to his cabin where he made her lie down on Sofa giving her video games which she enjoyed like a kid, while he proceeded with his work .
