I can't seem to get over yesterday's episode. Sona-Ishwari confrontation was one of THE BEST ever. Sona killed it with her responses. 👏 This is going to be a long read. So sorry about that.

What an amazing way to end things? Was it the end? This was needed for Sona. She needed that closure to move on. She needed to get it out of her chest. But would she still feel broken? Yes, she will always feel like that.

She went to Dev's house to get something but instead she left that place forever by opening the Pandora's Box - the truth that Ishwari was not willing to see. The way she shot back & responded to Ishwari was much needed. Ishwari was not willing to look beyond her insecurities & understand the things happening to her son. Even Mamaji tried his best to put some sense into her. But she wanted to stay oblivious. She was insensitive to Sona's feelings. Sona was in pain, hurt & fear & Ishwari wasn't seeing that as well. But now that Sona spoke everything out, loud & clear...Ishwari couldn't ignore what she said. Was Ishwari really willing to look at things now?? Was she willing to address the pain that her son was going through? Will she be able to face the TRUTH?

Sona was standing strong in front of Ishwari but she was a broken girl inside. The pain that she was going through gave her the strength to tell Ishwari what she had done to them. She was the girl who wasn't perfect enough for that mother's son. She was the girl who kept screaming & crying to her pillow every night. She was that girl who was suffering in pain & Ishwari failed to notice that she was completely broken inside. Her motive was not to insult Ishwari. But to let her know the truth. To let her know what she had done to them without understanding the love that they had for each other. To let her know that she in spite of being a mother didn't see how happy her son was when he was with Sona. To let her know that she failed as a mother. It was all because of her selfishness & insecurities that both Dev & Sona was suffering today.

From the moment she said Auntiji & walked into the house, she held the reins to move the way she wanted. She didn't allow herself to be succumbed to pressure, insult & pain. She was already in pain & a little more still wouldn't affect her.

"Auntiji aapki thabiat ab kaisi hai?" It was her health & her carelessness that led Dev to break away from Sona. Bless this girl for genuinely asking Ishwari about her health.

She had left her payal there & she'd come to take it back. To take every single thing with her & leave nothing behind. Sona couldn't find her payal & Ishwari thought that she was just making excuses so that she could meet Dev. Well, Ishwari had no idea what she was getting into when she asked Sona, "Agar janti ho ki yaha koi nahi hai, matlab kuch bhi nahi hai, toh phir kyu ayi ho yaha? Dev se milne??" And Sona says she would've never come if Dev's car was parked outside. Sona knew deep down that Dev wouldn't like the idea of her going to his house because that would upset his mother. And that would indirectly crush her again.

"Tumare aur Dev ke beech mein joh kuch bhi hua, iska hum sabko dukh hai." Ishwari truly amazes me. She doesn't like Sona. Sona knows it & Ishwari herself is aware that Sona knows that she dislikes her. So why play hide & seek?? Yet she still puts up a pretense & talks to her like she really feels sad that their relationship didn't work out. She gives Sona her usual gyan... that the best thing would be to move on in life... and there wasn't any need to hold onto something which was not going to work out. And everything in life doesn't happen the way one wants. Ishwari was out of her mind is all that I could say.

She continues to say, "Mujhe dukh hai ki, tum joh chahathi thi woh nahi hua par"...But Sona cuts her immediately & says, "Aap joh chahathi thi woh hua na? Aap chahathi thi ki mein aur Dev ek nah ho.. Hum ek nahi hai!" Sona was tired of being played around with. She too had feelings. And Ishwari was scoffing at her feelings. So she decides to retort back. That was the only way she could heal. Ishwari was taken aback by Sona's frankness & the truth that she was saying. The truth was hurting Ishwari. Ishwari you had this coming.. You've no choice but to listen to the truth which was bitter to you.

Ishwari doesn't stop here. She continues to say, "Mera beta itna bada hai ki, apne faizla khud hi le sakta hai." For which Sona gives her the apt smack, oops apt response... "Aapka beta itna bada nahi ho payega, joh kudh ke faizle le, joh aapko pasand na ho." The moment Sona said those words, Ishwari was disturbed that Sona figured out her insecurities. Ishwari was living within the framework of her past, that she was so obsessed by it & thereby she was oblivious to what was happening around her. Her son never had any idea of what she was going through when he confessed his feelings for Sona. For Ishwari, Sona was a mamuli outsider, who stole her son right under her nose & this girl was so smart that she figured out that it was because of her that Dev left her. And how could Sona forget those moments when Ishwari was so bitter to her...when she was angry with her...because that was the time when the truth started making its appearance. Sona could never forget that. Ishwari gets all defensive because Sona was peeling off the mask that she was wearing. She starts rambling again with her paheli's...I dislike her gol gol gumane ki aadat! She can never say anything upfront. Whereas, Sona was not going to take anything lying low. "Mera pyar koi mausam nahi hai auntiji, nahi koi phase... Meri zindagi thi, meri life thi, joh mein kho chuki hoon." Sona was hurting inside when she was saying this. But Ishwari was hell bent on mocking at her love. Wasn't she mocking at her son's love as well?? Ishwari tells her she has a future ahead of her. She will get married one day & she will forget this so-called-love in 2 days & move on with her life. She reassures her that she hasn't lost anything yet. This lady was clearly not in her senses. Oh yes, Sona was trying to move on with her life. But what will happen to her son's life when she decides to moves on? Guess Ishwari will have time to ponder about that as well.

Sona tells her that before falling in love she was her son's best friend...'Eklauti friend'... he shared his happiness with her, he re-lived his childhood with her...didn't Dev lose anything at all? He loved Ishwari so much, much more than himself that he sacrificed everything in a few seconds. Ishwari was truly lucky that no one could ever have such a wonderful son like Dev. Sona showed Ishwari the mirror. That she was the reason for her son's suffering. She was taking advantage of her son's love just to fulfill her own insecurities. Sona was stripping her from the facade that she was putting up...about how much she loves her son bla bla bla...

"Kyunki mein koi game nahi kela na, Dev kiska zyada hai?"...what an amazing dialogue. I bow down to the writers for coming up with such impactful dialogues. These dialogues were daggers to Ishwari. It kept piercing her heart, all in the right way. Sona says even if Dev was a game, it was only Ishwari who would've won ultimately. But in the end the loser was only Dev, her precious golden child - "Aaj agar aap jeet bhi gayi, toh haare sirf Dev."

Radha Rani makes her entry & tries to show Sona her true place. Which was an epic fail! Yes, Sona doesn't work there anymore so there was no need for her to listen to their rubbish. Finally she gave it back to them for all those insults that they piled up on her. Sab ka sab hisab kar diya Sona ne! What an attitude! Wow!! They were making fun of her love for Dev by calling it two minute noodles, barsaathi naal, ek glass pani... she was tired of being poked around by their jibes. She was hurting as it is & they were making fun of the situation that she was in. She wasn't going to take shit anymore.

Thank you GKB, for once unknowingly you've done the most commendable job in your entire life. Thank you. (For a second I thought she was going throw that water on Sona's face) She was voicing everything what Ishwari had noticed about Dev in the last few days. 'Tere jaane se humara Dev toot jayega, sukh chain koh jayega, raaton mein need nahi ayega, office ka kam teek se kar nahi payega'... Dev was going through all of these struggles. And Ishwari had noticed all these changes in Dev but she didn't want to believe that it was because of him losing his love. Ishwari was shocked that she didn't understand her son. She got the picture today. Would she confront her son & tell him that she was wrong? That she was a stone for not understanding him?

"In teen mahine mein, jitna mein Dev ko jan payi hoon, aap 28 saal mein nahi jan paye." Sona felt only pity for Ishwari now. If only Ishwari knew her son then she would've never snatched her son's happiness. What Sona said was like a slap on her face.

As she leaves, she tell them, "Mein humesha pray karungi ki Dev kush reh, aur who mujhe sach mein bhool jaye." Because she truly wanted her love to be happy. But would he be happy? That was Ishwari's headache now. Introspect my dear Maataji. And Sona leaves holding her head high. She now had to continue to smile even though she was broken. She had to pretend everything was normal even when everything was going wrong for her. She had to be strong for the people who loved her the most - her family. She couldn't let them down just because her love let her down.

Whereas Ishwari, now has a chance to fix her broken son. She had all the missing pieces now. So would she fix him now? Only time can tell! Fix him before it's too late. Fix him before the glass is crushed to it's powdered state. And while doing so you may cut yourself too. So beware! 'Dev teek nahi hai, sab kuch teek nahi hai.'

I'm at loss for words when it comes to appreciate this show now. After watching last night's episode I don't seem to remember the flaws this show has...I had forgotten them for now. At that moment I was very happy. Very happy that a girl could finally have her last say. Not everyone gets a chance to be like this. Sona is truly an inspiration. There were no tears, when she was already empty...but the emotions portrayed were way much stronger than tears. Erica you were brilliant & fabulous. Those emotions you conveyed gave us a different feeling altogether. You were still in pain, but we were jumping in joy because of your honesty & frankness. And Supriya was outstanding. And a final bow down to the makers for giving us this impactful episode. You gave us an elated feeling without having to shed any tears.. Bravo! 👏 ⭐️ ❤️

Amazing analysis Aksh.👏 For a while if we keep all the flaws aside then y'day's episode was an outstanding one. After a long time felt content at the end of episode and had a smile on my face.
What stood out for me from y'day's episode is the dialogue you have mentioned in ur title. "Aaj agar aap jeet bhi gayi, toh haare sirf Dev." - What a tight slap to the world's greatest Mother (Mother india). Sona conveyed everything with this one dialogue. A son lost his life while making his mother win. Other one is - "Kaun kehtha hai aisa?" . They are just not making fun of Sona's relationship, they are also making fun of Dev's love and his emotions.

Thank you Latha...🤗 Yes only for a little while...Just want to soak in with this episode this weekend. So much pain & so much truth was felt.
It's a hard life for Ishwari after all 😆 Ishwari was reeling with verbal slaps from Sona! 😆 She asked for it. But after listening to what Sona said...I hope we get to see her putting all the pieces together & doing something rather than being her usual self. If she doesn't do anything we might lose our cool all over again! She's so thick headed..

"Kaun kehtha hai aisa?" Sona was suffering so much that she couldn't stop herself from letting it all out.. To listen to Ishwari & RR call her love 2 min noodle, barsathi naala & ek glass pani must have been so painful for her. They were being extremely cruel..😡

Fantastic analysis

I love this show with all its flawed characters because I can relate to them .
Erica really was remarkable as Sonakshi yesterday , finally she stood up to both women , Ishwari of course will not do anything about her son's pain .
